His time with us was a bit of a disaster (through no fault of his own). Signed him in the Championship as a 22 year old seemingly going places in the SPL (recently had a Scotland cap), sites the main reason he joined was because of Derek McInnes, 2 days later McInnes is sacked...

In fairness he looked pretty good for us on the pitch despite us getting relegated miserably, he would have started for us in League One but then he did his cruciate ligament in pre season and was out for the whole season. Following summer we swapped him for Korey Smith + cash.

Not sure how he's done at Oldham but I hope he fares better with you than he did with us, should be an excellent addition in League Two.

I'd say so. Not a huge one and we're only asking for a small one. I reckon 100k.

Great energy, good at getting forward, and does the simple stuff well. Constantly applying pressure to the opposition and isn't bad in the tackle. I wouldn't mind us keeping him but he's not in McCann's plans so good luck to him. Great character away from the field as well. Really nice lad.

The Port Vale situation is an interesting one, we signed a brand new team last season which included a fair few random foreign players. In the end the foreigners struggled to adapt and it was the proven domestic players who performed and helped us into the play offs.

Delighted with that. Got better and better as he gradually got his sharpness and stamina back last season. Not enough to keep us up, but it'll be enough for us to give it a right good go next season.

Not sure what we'll be doing with Church. My guess is that someone somewhere will want him and we'll be happy to take any sort of fee, but all on ice until Wales come home from France.

Just need a couple more back up wingers and a centre half if Faz* goes.

*-looked like he was out on the training pitch this morning so at least he's not gone AWOL yet.

Yeah there was mate and I'm sure you'll end up with a few, just feel it's massively important you add some players with experience of League One to go alongside them.

I would be amazed if we didn't sign 2-3 British players in key positions to add that 'local' experience to the squad but we shall see. If we can replicate the season you had last season, then I think most Vale fans would be extremely happy

Pretty gutted to be losing him. He was a headless chicken at times but always gave 110%.
