Tell me what did you bequeath? To the girl with the departed user? As she showed you things she'd stolen from the Queen

Bahahaha.

Yeah, sounds like the two either look similar or people were just keen to get involved in the speculation. Pretty much everybody reporting a sighting of Taylor has now backed down and said it's the bloke from WBA.

He sounds highly rated so not a disaster of a signing. Keen to see who the "established goalscorer" signing on Thursday might be though.

All sorts of rumours about Lyle Taylor being at the Kassam tonight.
Some lad from West Brom

ITS A 17 YEAR OLD FROM WEST BROM PEOPLE. ENOUGH ALREADY.

No, not nearly enough. There's a 4-page thread on their forum with people wetting themselves to sign one of our players on the basis of a grainy photo. We're proper big-time now. Or, they're a bit tinpot. Either way, cause for hilarity.

Leon Clarke confirmed, 3 year deal. Would have preferred a 2 year deal (with the option of a third) but happy with this signing.

Bet you're still looking forward to that first win, aren't you.

Ismail Miller to sign 2 year deal at Bury on Friday. Good exchange for The wanderer Leon Clarke, who's had more clubs than a golf bag. Ismail be a better team player plus get goals.

We're looking to bring in both Declan Rudd and Louis Thompson on loan from Norwich.

Would be pleased with Rudd but don't know a lot about Thompson, Swindon fans?

Highly doubt Rudd will go out on loan and if he does it should be to a Championship side, he's quality.

Slade said yesterday that we're close to bringing in a keeper and Rudd's name has appeared from two different sources (admittedly one is HITC) today.

We'll wait and see but you're probably right.

I'd be gutted if he did go to you now we're stuck with Lindegaard. Him and Sam Johnstone are both out of contract next summer so I expect we will sign one of them, probably Johnstone as he's a Preston lad, but I'd be more than happy with either.

'Box to box' midfielder, will run all day. Creative, hard working and has an eye for goal. We sold him for 1.3 million and then loaned him last season but he had an injury and was below par. If you can get him playing at the level before we sold him you will have a very very good league 1 midfielder.

I think Norwich have just bought another keeper in haven't they?

This is Charlton mate, we've been linked with lots of different players in the last two years and struggle to get them over the line. I'm sure if a club like yourselves went in for Rudd he wouldn't hesitate to join you, especially after two previous loan spells.

If Rudd has been pushed down the pecking order at Norwich, I'm surprised PNE haven't made a move to sign him permanently.

Cheers.

Sounds just like Jordan Cousins so makes sense that Thompson could be his replacement.

Rudd is a good keeper but i've only seen him at League One level, he's not as good as Johnstone and obviously nowhere near Jordan Pickford level.

I think Grayson wanted two permanent keepers this season to avoid getting stung by a January recall again, also think he wanted his business done as quickly as possible and couldn't wait around for Rudd or Johnstone to be made available.

Odd one assume for the future rated at Grays but not likely to make the Burton side... Nor ours ahead of our central midfielders I'd have thought!
I don't think he even made the bench in his time here. Would give you some idea of what he is like but have never seen him play.

Sounds like his only real opportunity to get out on loan is in L1 then, from posts from yourself and Tom I would be happy with a season long loan.

Clarke's fee rumoured to be 100k. Would explain why the best replacement would be Miller...

Don't believe that

Our first bid was a 'laughable and low' 5 figure bid so I doubt a third will be much above that tbh. Wouldn't be surprised if it went something like 50/75/100.

Fairly reputable source, did have a 100% record (calling things like Wilder coming in to replace Adkins 2 months before the end of the season) till about 6 weeks ago then got a couple wrong.
