An unsubstantiated rumour on our forum to say JET could join us.
Doesn't seem to fit the mould of the forward JED said we're after last week so I'm not convinced.
Would certainly take him though, no question.
Announcement of another player due imminently at Vale apparently.
Local media reporting that it is a striker but not Tom Pope so probably Nathan Tyson I assume as he's been on trial
He's on 5k+ here. We wouldn't let him go currently anyway. An ITK on our forum says we couldn't afford Agard's wages, Matthew Kilgallon also mentioned although I would've said central defence is our most covered position
Do a job? JET's unbelievable in L1, would walk into any side in this league without question.Could probably do a job in league one. Absolutely awful in the championship.
I can't see it myself but it's been a strange summer.
Been delayed now apparently now anyway

He did. He scored 5 in 7 starts for QPR, but was playing second fiddle to Charlie Austin. When Austin went, Polter stepped up to the mark and they got in Conor Washington for a hefty £3.5m, so they sent JET out to get game time in a poor MK Dons side.If he was that good you would have thought he'd have made at least a small impact in the Championship in his three or four seasons there, but up to this point he has only succeeded in being a makeweight for Paul Anderson.
Ahead of Marvin Sordell? He did. He scored 5 in 7 starts for QPR, but was playing second fiddle to Charlie Austin. When Austin went, Polter stepped up to the mark and they got in Conor Washington for a hefty £3.5m, so they sent JET out to get game time in a poor MK Dons side.
He was also brilliant for Doncaster in his younger days when on loan there in the Championship under O'Driscoll, so I'd say he actually has made an impact. As I said, he'd walk into any side in this league. Without question.

That would be because JET isn't a striker, so he wouldn't be competing with either Morrison or Gregory....Scored against Yeovil, Carlisle, Bolton and MK Dons. So two league 2 sides and two of the worst sides in the Championship last season. Just been sacked off in the Championship for the third time in three years. He certainly wouldn't walk in and displace a strike partnership that scored 46 goals last season.
If there are three points on a graph and at one end you have 'JET would walk in to any team in this division' and 'JET wouldn't even make our subs bench' (cos that's the polarity I was reaching for before I thought better of it) then there has to be a third point somewhere denoting a happy medium. He ain't that good nor that much of a failure.
MK Dons - Ben ReevesThat would be because JET isn't a striker, so he wouldn't be competing with either Morrison or Gregory....
QPR chose to play him up front, he didn't play there at MK Dons, nor Doncaster, nor here 95% of the times
If you don't think JET would walk into any side in this division, give me the club and the player that plays in his position and we'll go from there.
Haha, he'd get at least half a season because Reeves is guaranteed to be injured for the other half.MK Dons - Ben Reeves
He couldn't get in our team as he's a lazy c*nt.

No he's a number 10. I'm not sure why you entered the discussion if you don't even know where the lad plays.Did he play mainly on the wing for you, then? I could take or leave either of our wingers, so I've just lost interest in this discussion.
True, but that's the only reason he got any game time.Haha, he'd get at least half a season because Reeves is guaranteed to be injured for the other half.
In response to the lazy comment, Wenger said something along of the lines of 'he has world class ability, he just needs the work ethic.'

In behind and up front, #versatile. He has played in a variety of positions throughout his career but quite often as a striker. Why did you write off the rest of the players in this division when you haven't seen hardly any football at this level for 18 months?
George Baldock has signed a new 2 year contract. Honestly the best news I think we could get. He's a simply brilliant player, I'm sure Oxford fans would agree.
