I need an answer from BCS.
Without opening an old wound, you stated that relegation was good as MK as the club are 'not ready for the Championship' and are 'happy to go back down'.
Do you feel the same now and what are your targets this season if your club aren't ready for the Championship? If your 'target' is promotion, what's changed?
Not having a pop pal, just intrigued.

I didn't say it was good, it's not for the club. But it's not bad from my enjoyment perspective as I like to see us winning games instead of only scoring like 30 goals.

The target is promotion, I don't think we will achieve it as we haven't brought in enough good players. Obviously this could change as there's still a while left in the market so we will see.

I'm not unhappy being in league one, it's a league I know and enjoy, and I get to go to some of my favourite grounds. If we get promoted we should probably have a better go of it in the championship as we were far to naive the first time around. So it would probably be more enjoyable.

I go to football to be entertained, last season was far from entertaining. If dread to be like a Rotherham, losing most weeks and just trying to stay up every season,

Miguel Santos on loan from Benfica... Goalkeeper being reported in Portuguese press. Have enough keepers but assume means Boot and Pickering will go on loan.

The youngsters will definitely be sent out and I would suspect Alnwick's position would come under threat as I can't see someone coming from Benfica to Vale just to sit on the bench

Not a bad thing in my view Alnwick seems to have been error prone since Neal went on loan so a challenge would do us good for that position.

Jamal Loza set to sign and playing today was after him last year. Not the greatest goal record and been on loan a bit mind.

Not a player I know much about but clearly another player with not a great past record

In addition to our 14th player being unveiled (not sure who yet, but it looks like it will be Monday as the player is due to have a medical), we also have Jamar Loza on trial who played in the Man Utd XI friendly yesterday and we are also looking at bringing in Miguel Santos who is the Benfica reserve keeper.

Loza is the player who was due to be the 14th just a medical document waiting before confirming it on Monday.

So how many people have you brought in who haven't played in English leagues now?

I've heard a rumour that it is someone else - possibly a foreign player - but could also be Loza, so I suppose we will just have to wait and see what tomorrow brings!

Ben Reeves, Dons fans?

Name was mentioned, apparently, by a director after yesterday's friendly.

Kilgallon expected to sign next week, also.

- and young Rory McKeown, formly of Raith Rovers is having a medical on Monday.

Can't see it at all in my opinion. He is worth a lot to us and really is a superb player, doesn't help him being injured all the time though. When fit he really is brilliant. I just can't see us letting him go to a league one team unless you offered us stupid money.

How much do you think it'd take?

Loza is absolute shite
He's got decent reviews after coming off the bench yesterday and that is from people off Vale's forum who generally hate all Vale players

Any use from the meagre pre-season games to be able to judge?

I've not been to any games as I don't have the money for Vale so my judgement has to come from the Vale forum and based on what has been seen so far, they are all shit and we are going to be relegated by Christmas

Cicilia grabbed 2 yesterday and we won so the latest Vale forum update is that he's going to bag 50 goals, all the new imports are superb and we will be promoted by Christmas

Haha! Amazing what 2 goals against Man Utd youths does for confidence! At least you have players to judge :)

Don't worry we are sending our second string to face Sheff Weds first team today so when they get turned over it will be back to doom and gloom

Our striker Luke Norris is apparently in discussions with an unnamed club over a move. So far we've heard rumours of Southend. Rotherham, Coventry, Fleetwood and Orient. So in other words no one has a clue.

What sort of striker is he? We are desperate for one and he seems the right age for us.
