We've already broken one Bournemouth youngster this season, so that doesn't sound overly promising! Our injury record is rather shocking.

Ask Coventry about him as he was there for half of last season. He's a lanky lad and he's been quite prone to injuries so far in his career. England U20/U21 international and he's made his fair share of first team appearances for us, but just needs consistent games every week somewhere.
If he needs games every week then we are probably not the best choice for him.
Already got Ehmer, Oshilaja and Pask.
Not saying he wouldn't get a game but would be far from guaranteed.

Richard Smallwood joining Scunthorpe apparently but not sure if loan or permanent but hoping its just a loan because hes a good player especially in league 1 which we might be next season.

Rico Henry joins Brentford for an initial £1.5m in a deal that can rise all the way up to £5m!! Meant to be a large sell on fee as well.

Expect Scott Laird to be announced as a replacement very soon.

Somebody made a fake Rovers account announcing we'd signed Sylvan Ebanks Blake for nearly £250k

I was about to throw my season ticket out of the window :lol:

Pleased about that - one more winger and a back up striker please

WALSALL Football Club can today confirm that an agreement has been reached with Brentford Football Club for the sale of Rico Henry.

The club have agreed an initial fee of £1.5m for the 19-year old with a number of add-on clauses written into the deal which could see it rise to over £5m.

Rico moves to Griffin Park immediately and will receive further treatment on the troublesome shoulder injury that may require surgery and so will not be available for selection at present.

Good deal, especially considering he's not fit and he's been defensively a little below his standards before since the SOD appointment.

Scott Laird on loan till January, meant to be decent so it seems like a "okay" replacement.

5 loanee's already but it is good to add some much needed experience to the back 4.

Worrying times for Walsall.

Losing one of their players and replacing him with an overweight backup LB of a team in the same league doesn't really bode well for the future.

Rumours are we are signing Winger Paul Anderson from Bradford.

You also tried to sign Mark Marshall in the summer aswell, if you didn't already know.

Get Ando fit and ticking, and you've got yourself a winger.

Yes was aware we tried to sign Mark Marshall in the summer. We have a history of signing players who are recovering from serious injuries. Sounds like he has decent pedigree though.

Paul Anderson leaves us for Northampton. When he signed last summer I thought he was a bit of a 'wow' signing, CV at a couple of top end Championship clubs, had just scored in the Championship PO semi, Ipswich fans wanted to keep him... Not once did we get to see said potential, he joined late so had no preseason then broke his leg in the September meaning we never ever saw anywhere near the best of him, to top it off he was on mega wages, £6-7k ish, it's been an expensive failure of a signing from our point of view and best for both parties that he has a fresh start, it means we may bring in three today now we've offloaded his wages

I did have this in mind, especially considering how many injury hit players we already have on the books. Worst comes to the worst, there's space for another loan/free signing and if he does play, he could add some experience to the backline.

It's only a temporary fix though, don't think he will come back after January and we could use an experienced head given most of our backline are youth or young lads.

Cargill looked great for us in the 5 games he played before he got injured.

Would like us to be in for him but we already have 3 left sided centre backs.

George Moncur on loan til January.

Weird considering he rejected us two months ago to join them but it's a good signing nonetheless.

Kieran Wallace joins Fleetwood on loan for the season from us.

I've liked him whenever I've seen him and really surprised he's not been given a chance in the team and to see him on the transfer list. Will be keen to see how he gets on.

We've reportedly agreed a fee with Lincoln for striker Jonny Margetts.

This would be stupid as we had him on trial last season and we rejected him. He's had a good start to this season but that's about it.

Not even our best striker. Bizarre.

Looks like we are in for Wycombe CB Aaron Pierre - valued at £500,000 by them!

Rumours on Twitter we've had a bid accepted by Motherwell for Marvin Johnson, who apparently wanted 1m for him originally, lets hope it's true. Doubt we'll pay close to that for him though

Richard Smallwood confirmed on loan from Rotherham, their fans don't seem very happy they've let him go.
