We've taken Cameron Stewart on trial.

No idea why, there are areas that are in much greater need, didn't exactly set the world alight last time he was here albeit in the league above and he didn't even have a club last season.

I know there is no harm in having a look but just smacks of a cheap squad filler to me, will be hugely underwhelmed if we were to offer him a contract.

Walsall, Rochdale and Shrews fans. Olly Lancashire? 28 year old centre back supposed to be signing for us today? What kind of player can we expect?
Decent enough on the ball. Not terrific mind.
He's defensively weak. Often makes mistakes that lead to chances.

Darragh MacAnthony has revealed we've had a double bid for Tom Nichols and Luke James rejected today. No idea if we'll continue negotiating or not.

Would be extremely underwhelmed with James given his barren, uninspiring year with us last season. Nichols I would be pretty pleased with personally.

We have just signed Greg Wylde on a 1 year deal, after he left us for Millwall last season, who then released him

Not impressed, he has the pace but no end product. A squad player at best who can fill a space on the bench

Wasn't good enough at Dale. I wouldn't have him back, and we are relatively weak at CB. Olly looks the part but is prone to big mistakes, isn't quick enough for L1 but might be ok at mid table L2.

We've signed Ben Gladwin from QPR. Don't know much about him other than he was decent at Swindon.

According to Sky we've won the race for Gavin Massey, signing later today apparently.

He did his cruciate against Burton in the last game of the season but was already the boo boys favourite well before then, got back to fitness around March this year but looked like he'd never seen a ball before when he made brief appearances at the end of the season, nice bloke just not a footballer

Me neither, see him as an impact sub. However, Adams does seem to be suggesting a change in style, as we appear to be collecting wingers like my sons do Match Attack cards.

We've signed Jack Marriott from Luton for a "substantial fee".

Isn't he basically exactly the same player as Tom Nichols? Seems an odd one. Wasn't great for us on loan a few years ago, but did well in non-league for Woking.

It's not a signing that's inspired me for the upcoming season. There's interest in Nicholls and he hasn't set the place on fire so the chairman might be looking to sell. That's 7 strikers we have on the books now so some are going to have to go and the sooner the better for most of them.

Dominic Poleon to Bradford. I wonder if the German money has run out because these are not promotion chasing signings.

We've given our 36 year old captain Adam Chambers a new 2 year deal, the bloke will be playing into his 50's at this rate as we say his legs will go every year and they never do.

We're closing in on Fleetwood's Conor McLaughlin. I don't know much about him aside from that he was in the L1 team of the year.

Poleon from Wimbledon confirmed, two year deal, can't say I'm overly impressed

The Germans have hardly had to spend yet - got money for Hanson, Billy Clarke, Play off money, Andre Wisdom sell on, maybe Nahki Wells sell on, I'm sure I've missed some as well - they've spent transfer fees but got a fair bit back as well

Try telling our forum that - too busy wanking themselves off over the fact that he scored more than our top scorer last season.

Utter fucking shite!

We've actually paid money for him aswell!

I'd be asking serious questions then, where on earth is the money going? It's not like you're in any serious debt and you've got 20k paying customers albeit on discounted season tickets.

Apparently ourselves and Peterborough are interested in taking Kevin Toner on loan from Villa.
Any good, Bradford/Walsall fans?
