That'll be a wait and see type signing. We've had a few young loan players involved with the England youth teams and it has been a bit mixed, JJ Kenny was very good but the 2 from Man City last season were dreadful (mainly attitude though and a bit lightweight).

Still waiting on answers from Colin Doyle and Dieng regarding contract offers, I'd have told them where to go by now sick of waiting.

Doyle is a good keeper and I'd like him to stay, but we need to know asap in case we need a replacement.

Not sure why we even offered Dieng a new deal, rarely plays and when he does he hasn't done anything decent since his first few months at the club. Hope he leaves, don't need a replacement for him.

Injuries have done him some damage, he's lost a yard of pace. He'd still be useful in L2, but he's now a 15 goal per season (max) striker at that level.

L1, nothing better than impact sub any more.

In fact, I'd say he couldn't even cut it any higher than National League level. Probably best just to leave him where he is.
