Colin Doyle hasn’t signed a new contract at ours, he’s making it sound like it was City’s decision but he hasn’t signed it himself at the end of the day so not sure how that’s City’s fault if they’ve decided to look elsewhere. It’d be something I’d want the club to do after the Tony McMahon fiasco last season.

Fans have gone into meltdown again but he’s not all that and we can do better in my controversial opinion, whether we will or not is another issue.

We’re lining up a move for Matt Crooks apparently. Wouldn’t mind him, tbh.

Assume we'll sell if we recoup what we paid. Look good at the end of the season in a poor side, got sent off a couple of times for stupid things though and wasn't that consistent. All things considered, worth a gamble and I'd like to keep him so fuck off.

Still waiting on answers from Colin Doyle and Dieng regarding contract offers, I'd have told them where to go by now sick of waiting.

Doyle is a good keeper and I'd like him to stay, but we need to know asap in case we need a replacement.

Not sure why we even offered Dieng a new deal, rarely plays and when he does he hasn't done anything decent since his first few months at the club. Hope he leaves, don't need a replacement for him.

Not aware of any transfer rumours atm.
Speak of the devil and all that, Doyle has now been told times up. As above whilst I'd have liked him to stay you can't piss about for 7 weeks then throw your toys out of the pram on social media, poor by an otherwise decent guy. As usual with some apparently it's all the clubs fault.

Ryan Haynes has signed for Shrewsbury for an undisclosed fee. Bit of a weird one, wasn't really good enough for us in League Two last season. Showed promise in his early years but is very suspect defensively. Might be able to convert him into a solid left winger.

Regarding Ryan Haynes transfer, I think it is our duty to inform Shrews fans to prepare next season for the majority of opposition attacks that he will be at least 60 yards out of position with his arm in the air claiming an absurd off-side.
It will help them adjust to him

Luton fans what's Jordan Cook like please, just signed for us on a 2 year deal. Checking his stats for last season I see he got more red cards than goals.....

Sounds like you'll have something to talk about after games at least!

Sherwin Seedorf (left-winger) signs on-loan from Wolves for 6 month. Supposed to be a right livewire - and has pace galore.

More importantly it is an absolutely fantastic name.

Edit - two posts, and I still forgot what I came here for. Samir Carruthers in on loan, Joe Rothwell just confirmed to Blackburn.

Sad to lose Rothwell but not totally convinced he ever translated his talent into a really dominant run of form. Needs to get through the injury patch to make the most of it.

Agree on Rothwell. He was forever getting injured but was still an important part in staying up last season. At least we got what we wanted for him (whatever that was) and didn't need a tribunal.

Aye, nephew of footballing legend, Clarence. If he’s half as good, he’ll do for me.

We seem to be doing our business early this year, which is a refreshing change.

Tom Clare (Burnley) CF - development.
Joe Riley (Manchester Utd) RB
Josh Wright (Southend) CM
Thomas Isherwood (Bayern Munich) CB
Anthony O’connor (Aberdeen) CB
Connor Wood (Leicester City) LB
Sherwin Seedorf (Wolves) LW - loan

Whether they’re any good or not is anyone’s guess.

Good loan for him but he as never been close to our first team. Think this move will be make or break for his Wolves career.

Weird signing is Seedorf, we now have three young raw left wingers yet no right winger. Unless he can play on the right.

Peterborough have been conned into paying a 6 figure fee for Siriki Dembele who only turns up for around 4/5 games a season, happy days. :£

Harry Lennon signs from Charlton on a three year deal and Sam Mantom signs from Scunthorpe on a two year deal with option for another year.

Cant see him dislodging Omar Beckles at LB.

Junior Brown missed the majority of last season due to his cruciate knee injury, and Omar Beckles made the League 1 Team of the season in the LB slot.

Unfortunately due to his injury, Junior may not be the same player, and I expect him to be sitting on the bench at Coventry as well.

The first few games I saw Dembele I was convinced he’d play in the Premier League, he was that good. However after a while it became apparent he was lacking in many areas, though saying that he then got injured, our form dipped and we almost got relegated. He added nothing after Jan and to get 6 figures after 7-8 good games is fantastic for us. He has the potential but so much to learn.

So according to Wikipedia (OK I know how accurate that is), Peterborough now have a 33 man squad and we're not yet in July.

10 signings made already for sweet shop Evans.

Oldham and Sunderland linked with Tommy Spurr.

That's the third player of ours Sunderland have been linked with after Doyle and Horgan.

All three leaving is fine by me.
