Just so we get his name right - it's Kieran Sadlier apparently. If he's anything like Ronan Curtis then go get him!

If he's found guilty, how long will he have to stay with you?

Strange rumour saying we are talking to Rotherham over signing currently Accrington loanie Michael Ihiekwe. Was motm in our game up at Acrrington, and scored the equaliser. Not sure if that means Burgess is off or worse Matt Clarke is off. Hopefully just cover, but that would mean 4 centre backs on the books

We’ve signed unattached ex Rotherham defender Shaun Cummings on an eight week contract to cover injuries and basically shite defending until January

With both our keepers out injured we've signed oue ex NO1 Matt Ingram on an emergency 7 day loan from QPR which is underwhelming to say the least,He was on loan at Northampton last season and they sent him back before his loan was due to end.

Thats surprising, wasnt he a very promising keeper when with you?

He was mate but the jump from League 2 the Championship seems too big for him and his confidence is shot after starting QPR's first 4 League games and letting in 13 goals including 7 at West Brom after which he was dropped, maybe he has a point to prove and does well at his hometown club but his first game on Saturday is away at Sunderland :ffs: I want him to do well obviously but i can't wait until Allsop is fit again who at least comes out for crosses something Ingram has never done he leaves them for defenders while sticking on his line.

22 year old striker Alex Samuel who was on a short term contract has signed an extension until 2021,pleased with this as he's done really well in the 9 games he's played so far and looks like he and The Beast have a good understanding setting up goals for each other.

Tommy Spurr's loan is going to be cut short at Fleetwood, already back on our treatment table and it looks another long term one.

Luckily he's out of contract in the summer, can't see him getting anything other than a pay as you play deal after that.

We've signed Birmingam Keeper David Stockdale on an emergency 7 day loan as both our keepers are out injured until the new year.

Good signing for you - probably regrets rejecting that new contract offer from Brighton when they got promoted !

He hasn't played for Birmingham this season which worries me but he has to be better than our youth keeper who is out on loan.

Someone better have a hefty cheque book if they want to take any of our players away from Kenny.

It's from one of those fake ITK accounts, with a dozen followers, who sits in a basement making up rumours all day. Last seen saying James Collins was going to Forest Green or Milton Keynes.

Hopefully true. Was worried your interest in Karlan Grant would resurface given his form this season.

I'd take him, fits the bill more than Eaves who doesn't look mobile at all.

Slightly surprised to see Jones come out today and mention he's actively looking to significantly improve the team. Not the usual 'well if something that makes us better crops up' statement.

Be interesting to see what position/s that is. Team flying at the moment with few obvious weaknesses, unless he knows of some departures.

Top keeper maybe? Harsh but a better Collins or dare I say.......Hylton? He says he's looking for Championship quality..... just in case.

I felt the same when I read the headline on Luton News but in full context I read what he is saying as he is looking only for one or two but ones that significantly improve upon what we have, which is basically what we have looked for every window (with mixed success).

Keeper is an obvious one to upgrade. Don't think we'll go for a striker but who knows, if Lee has the #10 slot nailed down that only leaves us with 3 strikers (one of whom isn't much of a goalscorer) and we have seen Aaron Jarvis get minutes recently. We are fairly stacked in midfield with Grant and McCormack struggling to get minutes and Berry still to come back. Longer term a McCormack replacement will be needed but Rea is in good form and has the position nailed down for now so maybe not needed yet.

Hard to predict though really as Jones has shown he can be very ruthless when upgrading the squad (e.g. signing Sonny Bradley which was always likely to lead to the sidelining of player of the year and captain Alan Sheehan).

Bit wary of going in big in January after last year's debacle mind you.

Ruthless indeed; and if you’re trying to ready a squad for the Championship it will need to be uber ruthless as the gap is widening between the two divisions.

The keeper is the obvious upgrade. I have my doubts about the two big centre halves and their mobility against better strikers. Two move out any of the midfielders at the moment is particularly difficult - as you say another anchorman in midfield might be needed (Ron Burgundy is not available). And the obvious a good striker. I’m not sure Collins will make the step up. Lee and Cornick are improving all the time.

What is clear though is that we have a team here full of young hungry footballers and it’s going to take something to unseat any of them at the moment.

Bit wary of signing anyone other than a keeper in January really. The only position that you could say could do with an upgrade really.

Signing another forward that’s better than what we have will likely be expensive and seems like over kill. If it takes time away from Cornick playing that role as well then I’m not sure that’s a good thing either as he is developing well.

Midfield again likely expensive to what we have and with Berry coming back not really necessary. Perhaps if one of the full backs leaves then we might get something there maybe.

Last season he made similar statements and we signed some right rubbish though!

Last season I feel nj was badly advised by more experienced assistants and a below than average scouting system dropping him in it...
The goalies both have match winning performances in their lockers as well as the potential of embarrassing themselves...begs the questioning of the coaching standards being up to this level??
