£6m, f&ck me - we'd sell the club for £6m

I know. Talk about hitting the jackpot! :£:£:£

There was a bidding war between a few clubs, which really pushed the fee up. Word is that Brighton are selling Dunk to Leicester for £30M, who in turn are selling Maguire for £85M to whoever stumps up the cash.

We're showering in Premier League transfer merry-go-round run off money.

Jesus.

Meanwhile our best players go for free.

Can't wait until you sell Brown for £15m next summer just to rub it in

£6M now being bandied about as the fee we're getting from Brighton for Matt Clarke.

If true, obviously sorry to see him go but great business for us as the majority is likely to be pumped back into the playing budget.

A return for Charlton's Jason Pearce looks a possibility for us. He was very popular here first time around and was sold during one of our many fire sales when we were in meltdown.

We apparently had a bid turned down for Peterborough's Matt Godden a few weeks back.

We're also apparently looking at Ayr United's Lawrence Shankland who is scoring for fun at the moment, albeit in Scottish second tier.

I bloody hope there's a clause in there for us! Shocking decision from Mick there.

Manny Monthe has signed a new 2 year deal. Great news after the disappointment of yesterday. Turned down offers from other clubs in this division.

A very polarising figure at Crewe, I didn’t mind him but he’s no where near good enough for league 1, will be a bench boy for you.
He’s admitted that Tisdale came to him and said that he’ll be a bench player so I’m glad everyone’s on the same page there. I just hope that this doesn’t mean we’ve got Mason as a replacement for Agard/Chuks

Not sure why we've signed him to be honest. Mediocre L2 striker at best.

Graham Carey confirmed leaving us and has turned down our improved contract offer.

Who's after him then? Think he'd struggle in the Championship but would fit in well to a decent L1 side.

Coventry and Burton both linked.

Who is actually left at Bolton?

Surely a good chance of going down again.

Alnwick and Matthews (goalkeepers), Lowe, Murphy, Oztumer (midfield), Magennis & Hall (forward), all others have their contracts ended in June, and the academy lads (Connell, Brockbank and a couple of others) have not signed professional terms as yet so can all go for development fees

He’s really not as bad as some of our fans make out on twitter.

Aren't those you mention now free to walk as they've not been paid for a certain amount of time?

We're after Oztumer and sure I read that in one of the articles.

They are all under contract, so would have to buy their contracts out, unless the administrators cancel their contracts. The only ones who can walk away are those who contracts are ending

Fair enough.

This is what I read, no idea if that's right or not as thankfully our situation hasn't got quite that bad yet.

But the South London Press has been told that Charlton are still keen on Oztumer, but that they have other positions which are a priority to strengthen.
Oztumer has a year left to go on his Bolton Wanderers contract but the financial crisis there – the club are in administration and because he has not been paid he could hand in a 14-day notice and then leave for nothing.

We've signed Tom Davies after being released by Coventry

That's now 3 Coventry players we've signed in the last 6 months! We're becoming their reserves.

Watch up finish above them next season now too

Saw that, to be honest, I'm not sure anyone really knows the legalities of it all, and as you know from your own experience, the EFL and FA are the biggest waste of time when it comes to their own rules, never mind those affecting players

Funnily enough when he was making his name at Chesterfield, I always thought of him as similar to Daniel Powell, but with a bit more technical ability and pace. Ironic he joins us on the day after you pick up Powelly.
