(re Stuart O'Keefe) Good luck. He's shite.

Bit harsh. Just needs the right team around him. Was pretty decent for us in 2016/17...solid, hard working CM who will contribute a few assists and goals too. Certainly L1 level.

Powell is a decent signing for Crewe. Seems to be a bit hit and miss wherever he goes, but he offers something completely different and when he does have a superb game he's genuinely unplayable.. Came through our academy and still our 3rd all time top scorer.

According to Donny boss McCann we've made a sizeable contract offer to Blackburn's Paul Downing which may have put us in pole position.

It had to be either yourselves, Sunderland or Ipswich. We can’t compete really in terms of money. He was very steady and played well and although I would like him to sign I can honestly say I’m not devastated if he doesn’t.

We've signed midfielder Matty Willock released by Man Utd.

Evans is raving about him, he's a loan at FC Utrecht, a couple north of the boarder and ended last season on loan at the mighty Crawley.

Not a clue.

Well, trawling around the forums, videos and comments he is very highly rated. Here’s hoping.

It’s suggested we beat Rangers and some Championship clubs to his signature. Really? How the heck can we do that?

We've had a bid of between 500k-750k accepted by Oldham for 21 year old defender George Edmundson, also apparently close to agreeing a fee with Plymouth for Freddie Ladapo, looking around 500k. Be happy with Ladapo, heard good things about Edmundson.

If we're throwing around that kind of cash it must mean that the Matt Clarke transfer is pretty much done.

Very happy with both of those.

We’ve signed Regan Poole from Man Utd. A top signing that, very happy with how the squad is starting to shape up.

Yup well happy with that. Defensively I'd think we're pretty much ready to go for next season already.

Apparently Sunderland and Pompey both with bids of 500k for Ladapo accepted. Decent striker at this level but also think it’s decent business for us. Not got enough to his game to make it a step higher imo.

Could go either way. I am told that he scores all his goals at home (and one at our place) and went on a bender before a crunch game at the end of the season.

Don't know whether he has an attitude problem or just fell out with the management.

If the latter, might also explain why there are mixed opinions about O'Keefe. General positive feedback from all the other teams he has been loaned to apart from Plymouth.

Ladapo has had one good season in his career. Lots of players have done well under Derek Adams and then left and hasn't worked out. Will be interesting to see how he does if he does leave. Going out on the piss a couple days before a big game isn't ideal either. No loss.

Rumour linking ourselves and Bristol Rovers with ex Colchester striker Mikael Mandron. Never heard of him really.

2 goals in 40+ games last season in the league below ain't exactly inspiring, but we said the same about Eaves before he signed for us.

Surely losing a striker who scored 20 goals last season is a loss?

Admittedly I’ve not seen him play but you’d expect him to be one of the top 5 scorers in L2 wouldn’t you and that’s not something to give up lightly?

You'd think so, but he'd had 14 clubs at the age of 25 before joining us. He was also shite until October, had a purple patch midseason and then went quiet again towards the end. Was also dropped a couple of times in the final run in.

He scored goals in non-league a few years ago but we are the first club in the FL where it's worked out for him. Keep him and risk him not performing under Ryan Lowe, and last season being a one off, or take 500k+ and allow Ryan Lowe to spend it how he wants? I'd take the money.

I guess time will tell with Ladapo. We've made some pretty shrewd signings the last few years, so I trust their judgement.

He looked good in Crawley's midfield last season. A class above our players but not really championship level. I thought he'd end up in league one.

There seems to be some I'll feeling towards him from the Scottish fans. Rangers fans were particularly pleased they didn't sign him. I don't know the cause of that but if you asked a Crawley fan if they'd welcome him back they'd bite you arm off .

Blackpool fans - Marc Bola... any good?

Won their player of the season, I think him & that Tilt are their best players.

Hopefully they lose both.

Don't think he achieved 20 goals in his prime and fit, very very effective player though and gave me some of my best memories following Bradford City.

This is our scorers list from last season:

And Wes Thomas was released, so If Hanson can manage 5 goals a season it will be an improvement on what we’ve already got.

Gary Mackay-Stevens having a medical according to SSN. Don't follow Scottish football really. Left footed winger.
