Calum Butcher from Dundee United signed for the Brewers today, rumour has it that Kallum Higginbotham from Partick Thistle won't be far behind him.

Absolutely chuffed with the Garmston signing.
We are going to have so much pace in the side next season.
Ehmer would now put the icing on the cake for me.

According to the local press we have dropped our interest in Nathaniel Mendez-Laing and Izale Mcleod. But could be looking to bring Jack Dunn back to the club from Liverpool after his short loan spell last season.

Glenn Morris signs a new one year deal. Solid signing, if not as exciting as Garmston. Still hope we can tie up Ehmer.

If we can keep up that kind of quality in terms of replacing players outgoing il be happy! See what strikers we bring in and what happens with Marshy and Oaky.

Glad to see Williamson go, but I wouldn't be surprised if he went there and became a decent player. He's a confidence player and at the end of the season it was shot to pieces, a fresh start could be best for all concerned.
As for Remi Streete, hopefully he will be as good as he was in his loan spell, but I think some of our fans are getting carried away seeing as he only played 3 games.

Garmston is a fantastic signing, especially on a three year deal. Not so sure about this Williamson, but I guess he'll just be a squad player.

Blues are rumoured to be interested in signing out of contract Town defender Jermaine Grandison.

Fair play Vale fans, Streete looks like a good signing....whhaaattt?!

Sorry, I'm clearly missing something here. Can a Vale fan tell me why you lot are all so excited by this signing, because I don't see it?

It's just that he can't be any worse than who we already have! So it must be some sort of improvement! [emoji12]

Streete should be a solid signing. Plenty of Newcastle fans rate him and he looked decent in the few games he played for us. He's big, mobile and young which is exactly what our defence needs.

Kelly is a bit of a strange one but hopefully he will be a decent replacement for Marshall who I imagine is definitely on his way out.

Apparently we are also in talks with Mawson. He seems high in demand so I would be very surprised if we signed him.

In pure random Transfer news our chairman was scouting at the Norway and Belarus U21 game yesterday.

Highly rated youngster at Newcastle and impressive on loan why wouldn't we be delighted. A massive upgrade on Robertson.

If we can keep him fit we will be selling the lad in Summer 2017 for more than we got for Ainsworth.

The Chairman has laid his cards on the table now, the addition of Inniss on season long loan in the next few days seems highly likely and would be a cracking signing. Whether he has the bottle to invest the £600,000 to buy Inniss and get a shitload back in transfer fees down the road I doubt but you can't tell with Smurthwaite, he has a habit of stringing you along, being a miserable git and letting people getting worked up but then pulling really good or reassuring news out of his hat at the last moment, does it all the time on ovf. Inniss on loan would be amazing all the same but the two year deal for Streete, who should be a level above and will be on a significant wage , tells me the Chairman has the appetite for success he says he does and maybe he will go all out and take the investment risk.

inb4 some crewe **** says something about the risk of spending money

Mowbray trying to get Grant Ward back for the season as well as a few other Spurs youngsters. Would be brilliant to have Ward back.

Smurf should stay away from OVF. As horrible and childish as he is on there though some clowns will never be happy and I can see why he gets frustrated.

I wouldn't be surprised if he tried to buy Innis.

Harris apparently very confident about signing him and our local press are being very coy about it on social media. Not sure that means anything. I expect this to drag out for at least a week.

Well the loan deal was meant to be done at Palace last game yet it's still in the works so maybe a buy option? Either way Inniss signs and I'm going to be buzzing!

Matt Tootle signed for Shrewsbury on a 2 year deal. Not really fussed, he will be on decent wages and we didn't miss him last season James Bailee is the future, decent signing for Shrewsbury though, didn't think Toots would make a sideways move.
