We're not in a situation whereby we need to sell either.

I wouldn't be surprised if Clarke went to Preston just because Hanson is regarded as the crown jewel for some reason and we will have put a silly price on his head whereas Clarke is easy come easy go, if we get a fee for him then the board will probably see it as offsetting the money we've not got for Hanson. Not saying Clarke is a crown jewel or anything but I'd rather he stay than Hanson.

Ajose in the Championship would be laughable. For your own sake, don't do it. He's an average L1 footballer, at best.

Seems an odd one but we're light on numbers, if he comes cheap and he's happy to sit on the bench I won't really be assed if we sign him.

You're talking about a player who has earned a decent wage everywhere he has been. Will he be swayed by a slight wage increase, and for what? - to become a rotation player for a club who may even struggle next season?

The latter may seem a little harsh, but I can't see him going anywhere.

Currently, we've got Clarke going to PNE or Wigan. Billy Knott going to Huddersfield and Hanson going to Millwall - and only the latter seems the most plausible.
