Happy for us to leave Tommy Lowery and anyone else necessary out in the wilderness and for us to take the hit and get relegated if it means at some point these (this?) agent(s) will get the message and jump in front of a bus. And future academy kids will not try and dictate the running of the club.

We are rumoured go be signing Conor Masterson on loan from QPR. Highly rated CB from QPR on loan at Swindon last season but only for 5 games until he got injured.

Completely and utterly disagree with this. We've got a whole year to sort his contract out. It's not like he's out of contract next month! If it gets to say February, then yes, I could get on board with dropping him. But it's August! Absolute load of nonsense from all involved. Perry Ng was club captain this time last year, and he had made it very clear he wasn't signing!

Whilst I'm ranting, let's get onto these ludicrous release clauses. What fucking idiot thought of putting such derisory clauses into the contracts? Once Pickering went for 800k (a nonsense amount, he's worth double that) it signalled open season, and tells clubs and agents that we will sell for pennies. Charlie Kirk for 500k?! What an absolute load of shite. Is it any wonder Lowery and his agent are asking for a shit release clause? Derisory release clauses, not Tommy Lowery are the real issue.

Because he sa
Definitely at fault, piss poor clearance. How can he be the best player when he gave away the deciding goal and cost his team a point?
because he saved them numerous times during the game.

Was definitely one of our best players second half of last season. He just doesn’t stop running. He hasn’t really played yet this season due to injury. Wish he was a bit younger!

Good last season...composed and knits the team together
Lost his place to Sheehan/MJ williams, but a good player to have coming off the bench

Reegan Poole randomly linked to Sunderland on their forum from a guy who apparently knows what he's talking about. Would be a weird one given that we only signed him in January and only last week signed someone else who can play RB.

We signed Conor Masterson A center half on loan from QPR until Jan. Made his debut yesterday due to injuries and looks very good.

Toszer linked to Wrexham…Cheltenham fans. Do you have anyone else that can take a long throw? Can’t for the life of me see why you would sell him.

We're offering big money for someone with a year left on his deal.

Yeah but it genuinely could be the difference between them staying up and not. It was a big reason why they got promoted. Haven’t seen a long throw as good as that since Delap

Parkinson will be the guy to get them to league 2/ maybe league 1 then they’ll get shot when they want to play better football.

He's more than a long throw merchant, he organises the defence and leads by example. He's won supporters' player of the year two years in a row now and he is crucial to how we play.

However, I won't begrudge him a move. If earning a massive wedge more two divisions lower is what he wants, then so be it. A 6 figure-fee for a player who is not 6 figure standard is fine to me. I'd only be annoyed if he mentions joining because of it being "an exciting project" or other similar bollocks. Just be honest, "I've joined Wrexham because they're throwing money around like confetti and this will set me up for a few more years than the pittance I'm earning in League 1".

If we are offering him 3 years then he will be signing that IMO. Any player 31 years old would be mad not to.

I guess we are thinking relatively short term with this one unlike Hayden and Mullin who are a lot younger and have re-sale value, on 3 year deals, we want promotion ASAP and are willing to pay over the odds I guess. If Tozer gets us up then it pays for itself.

Dominic Iorfa has signed a new 2 year deal with us, absolutely massive that. I’d be surprised if there’s a better centre half in this league. It finally feels like we’re being run properly! Never thought I would be saying that 2 months ago.

Dunkley and Iorfa is the best defensive partnership in the league by a country mile.

I’d have to disagree with you there mate and say Iorfa and Sam Hutchinson! It’s a shame he’s made of biscuit though.

Lowe has said we’ve agreed a deal with a player, who he knows very well. He was with James Jones at Crewe at some point.
Looks like said player is having second thoughts, hoping something closer to home comes up.

Santos and Johnston have the makings of a partnership that will in the next 18 months get Bolton back into the championship or warrant a 7 figure transfer fee for either.
They are only just starting out and have had issues pre season with one injured and one contacting covid.
4 games together 2 clean sheets against Barnsley and Lincoln and undefeated in those 4 games.

I'm a big fan of Johnston, getting him into the starting line-up was key to us staying up last season. I would have loved to have him and Whatmough (whose been brilliant so far) partnered together this season.

Dunkley is the bollocks at L1 level mate, at least from our experience. Will get you five goals bare minimum and normally rock solid at the back because most teams in the league play long ball which suits him perfectly. Hutchinson though, is another class act at this level.

I know you should never judge a player on one performance but he looked awful against us

If I’m being honest I can’t really remember his performance against you! He has only just come back after 8 months out though to be fair to him. I do genuinely think had he not got injured at Christmas we’d have stayed up. Head and shoulders above any other centre half we had last season.

Being linked with Mendez-Laing presumably to replace Andre Green.

I’m not sure we really need another winger/wide forward, we’ve already got 5.

Joe Ironside has signed a contract extension to 2023. Very pleased with that. 15 goals last season and 3 in 4 so far this season so it was important to get that extra year sorted.
