Alfie Lewis is an interesting one. Sort of signing which if it works out could make the club a lot of money. If we are to get into the championship this is how we need to work in the transfer window. We haven’t got the budget of a Sunderland, Ipswich, Rotherham etc.

Would like to see Adam Randell loaned out to L2 just to get some games.

We are also in for Stuart Findlay apparently, which makes sense because we need a left sided centre back, but with the other clubs after him I can’t imagine he’d join us.

Also Mark Hughes from Bristol Rovers is set to be announced as either player/coach or first team coach tomorrow.

Hope it’s just first team coach, he’s 35 and hardly played this season.

Wouldnt be surprised if he comes home to Wigan for the rest of the season, Swansea owe us one big time, so would make sense.
He's apparently in Russell Martin's plans for the second half of the season, but I wouldn't be surprised if he was loaned back out either.

We are supposedly in for Stuart Findlay along with half of League One and Championship.

Also linked with Mark Beevers who we know very well. He’s 32 now and wants to move back home so it would make sense with our current defensive crisis. I think we could do a lot worse in L1 although I’ve not seen him play for a while.
We were interested but his wages were a stumbling block before your interest

James Hill joining Bournemouth from Fleetwood for £1.6m. We were interested in the summer but went for the cheap, easy (stupid) option in Liam Lindsay.

Very tenuous rumours that Fleetwood might use some of the James Hill cash to take Ellis Harrison off our hands. This is probably wishful thinking on our part.

Swansea have recalled Kyle Joseph.

The bastards!!
In what was a pretty toothless attack I think he was quite decent and busy when he came on. Surprised he was not starting,

Hope they don’t take Garrick back too.

Yeah, I did read that, surely he can’t be on that much at Peterborough though?

Another defender linked, Hayden Roberts from Brighton who played for Rochdale on loan last year. Seems like he’s got good pedigree with England youth caps and 6 senior apps for Brighton.

The possible loan of Liam Cullen from Swansea has cropped up again. Lincoln and MK Dons may also be interested.

I see Sunderland have signed Trai Hume from Linfield who we have been strongly linked with since the summer!
£200k for a full-back and effectively a 5½ deal would have been a little too rich for us in the end, I think!

There's a blast from the past, where's he been?!

We've brought in Mark Hughes as First Team Coach after leaving Bristol Rovers.

Dan N'Lundulu and Archie Mair have been recalled by Southampton and Norwich respectively, although in reality, we've probably binned them off.

Mair was brought in, in my opinion anyway, to be number two to Griffiths but we couldn't find a good loan for academy product Sam Long and he ended up as third choice instead, making no appearances and only a handful of matchday squads.

The writing was on the wall for N'Lundulu a few weeks back when Appleton started preferring 17-year old Freddie Draper over him. Everything about him suggested he should have been half decent - tall, well built, bit of pace - but ultimately played more like an average non-scoring L2 target man. The reaction to him leaving tells all.

EDIT - Long did go out on loan, but was called back specifically for Cup games so maybe I'm out on the Mair thing!

A proud day for Fleetwood FC as they see James Hill, a product of their hugely successful academy join AFC Bournemouth for a record club breaking fee. With Josh Feeney having joined Aston Villa earlier in the season this is another feather in the club's development squad, and there is the expected departure of Jay Matate for a substantial sum before the end of the month. Significantly within the last week, 3 more aspiring young players have elected to join Fleetwood, Drew Baker from FC United of Manchester, Kyle White

I can't really see Hartigan leaving us in January to be honest.
Formal bid in for Hartigan.........He is going in January for a fee or the summer for nothing

Seems like the Jack Iredale from Cambridge rumour has substance.

We definitely need competition for Josh Earl and Alan Nixon said today that we'll be in for a LWB. A versatile one would be ideal.

On Rotherham Utd's OS, Freddie Ladapo has handed in a transfer request.

Poor old Freddie has never won the fans over TBF.
His languid style doesn't help but he is a goalscorer even if it takes him 5 chances to convert one.

He has a contract until the summer with an option for another 12 months I believe, so a fee will be required.
I just hope we can sign on someone better, we can't finish the season with only Smith, Grigg and Kayode.

Do you think you'll bid for him in Jan or wait until the summer? He's out of contract in the summer.

I'd hope we sign a LWB this month as we're short, if we wait till the summer then other higher paying clubs might offer him a better deal. I'm looking at those Welsh bastards Swansea, who always nick our targets.

Michael Duff confirmed earlier that Kion Etete will be joining on Monday. He also confirmed we had two more undertaking medicals today - no idea who they are though.

Scratch that - we've confirmed one of them is Dan Nlundulu on loan from Southampton who apparently has been shite at Lincoln this season.

Harrison is in talks with another club (Fleetwood?) and apparently close to an exit. Downing to Donny is possibly happening, and now hearing Marquis to Mansfield? Are they flush with cash at the moment?

We're also reportedly in a tussle with Blackpool to get QPR midfielder George Thomas in on loan.
