Eoin Doyle has completed a move back to Ireland with St Pats signing a new three year deal.
He's not going there for the facilities put it this way  What a ground they've got. I was just about able to get myself up high enough on a wall to take a photo of it when I visited Dublin and went looking at all the grounds there they've got.

He has business over there and he goes with everyones thanks here.
Got told in lge 2 forum that we had over committed with our spending on Doyle and Sarcevic, 18 month later both have moved on and we got promoted.........Everyones a winner

Talk of a swap deal between us and Rotherham, Ladapo coming to us and Sean Maguire going the other way.

Maguire is finished as a striker in the Championship due to his injuries, can't score in a Blackpool brothel and has lost his acceleration, but he's still technically good and causes problems when he drops deep. Imagine he'd look very classy in this league and might get back in the goals if played just off a main striker, or off the left.

Not sure what Ladapo would bring to us though, seems a lazy, stroppy bastard.

Might be bollocks though, how often to swap deals actually happen? plus Maguire will be on decent money.

I can't see this happening TBH, rumour is he wants to go back down south.

I can't see Ladapo getting on the pitch for Preston only as a sub maybe.
He does look lazy and his control can be laughable at times, he does score goals though.

If Maguire is on decent money that rules us out.

I don't like the sound of Ladapo at all to be honest.

Don't see how he's an improvement on Ched Evans.

Josh Magennis apparently close to signing from Hull which is incredibly depressing when considering we were being linked with Ched Evans a week or so again. I don't care how many goals he scored for Hull last season, he's absolutely pap.

You ain't wrong about that... him & Donaldson up front for us is the most depressing football I've ever watched in my life. He's absolutely hopeless in the champ but league one he will probably give you a decent return if you can get the right service into him. He's also guaranteed bagging against us.

Evan's start against Stoke put that one to bed, it'd be absolutely ridiculous to let him go.

Ellis Harrison signed for Fleetwood from us. Didn't ever get a decent run in the side due to injuries. Never really got going at Pompey
Hope he does well as he's a really nice bloke.

You Pompey fans out there, Fleetwood have signed Ellis Harrison for an undisclosed fee. What's he been like for you lads, and can he score goals ?

Works hard, but really didn't set the place alight. From a Pompey perspective he's been pretty poor in front of goal to be honest. Although scored a hattrick against wimbledon in the pizza cup this season

Aaron Morley from Rochdale added to a growing midfield list we are looking at

Not in todays squad and Rochdale have said they have accepted bids on two players that have been left out of the squad

Thanks for reply, here's hoping a change of scenery and fresh Fleetwood air invigorate him

I'd prefer him or Hartigan to the Scottish lad we're linked with on loan. Atleast Morley or Hartigan would be a permanent signing & they both have very good pedigree at EFL level despite only being 21. If Campbell can't keep a place in a mid table SPL team why do we want to develop him for Aberdeen?

Appleton's wanting two or three in by the end of next week, and it's hard to argue against that. We'll also need defensive reinforcements because we now have no CB's available.

Agreed, he's clearly in Lowe's plans going forward. I'd take Maguire from you lot, anyone but Magennis. I think a big problem for us at the moment is like everyone else we obviously don't want to spend much money due to Covid, but Championship sides don't want to let their players out on loan at moment for the same reason.

Two more, one being Kion Etete, due in on Monday and that's our business done apparently.

Chris Hussey hasn't been sold as of yet, but a bid has been accepted and now the ball is in his court. Duff's told him we want to keep him though.

Maguire would be very good at this level but maybe not what you need. Before his injuries the guy looked a £10m player, he was unreal, mad how things can change with injuries.

Someone on Twitter believes that it’s us, but that’s a signing that seems completely outside of our current plan
I had heard Salford, ( as scholes was at the Pirelli recently) but it’s anyones guess.
JFH said it was too good an offer to turn down - whatever that means.
