Now confirmed on a 2 and a half year deal. Given we play a back 4 and have been very leaky down the left, this looks like a good signing for us. The extra experience and influence will also be useful for our very young squad.

Just need to find a replacement for Palmer now. Rumours we will be getting a striker from Ipswich. Hoping for Piggott, but maybe Simpson or Jackson?

Simpson or Piggott would be plausible.

McKenna seemingly has faith in Jackson. I don't see it myself but I am not a coach and McKenna has earnt the right to have fans not question his decisions after his first five games.

This came out of the blue, Imps have signed forward Charley Kendall from Eastbourne Borough, he'll stay there for the remainder of the season. 21 years old and scored 11 in 17 in the National League South. Was a kid at QPR who looks like he left to get men's football.

Rebuffed a £400k offer from Charlton for Scott Fraser.

I think we would let him go but that figure is well wide of the mark.

Interesting one, someone who dropped all the way down to NLS from a Championship U23 side in the summer just to get some games.

With him and House, we'll have a couple of complete unknowns in the squad next season (unless we plan on sending them both out on loan for the season but I doubt it).

After doing nothing for over 3 weeks we've gone crazy the last few days.

Outs:
Daniels - Walsall
Mcfadzean - Wrexham
Thomas - contract terminated

Ins:
Sambou - Fortuna Sittard - permanent
Uwakwe- Chelsea - permanent
Alebiosu - Arsenal - Loan
Agyei - Oxford - permanent

Can't grumble much at that. Got 3 big earners who have been useless off the books. Brought in two wing backs we were desperate for. Also two attackers, to add some pace and more of a goal threat.

The fact he left the under 23 bubble is a good sign. Both he and House have received glowing reviews for their work rate and attitude which gives them half a chance. Hope they both do well but they are relatively cheap punts and if they don't work out, i'm sure it'll be easy to find them clubs to move on.

Lee Brown from Portsmouth on a free transfer. Here's hoping he shores up the defence. Always time for someone called Lee as that's my name albeit with a different spelling.

Thomas surprises me. He wasn't bad for us but left in the hope of moving up a level. I'm pretty certain that his contract would have been renewed but he took the grass is always greener approach instead. More fool him.

It seems that we are still after getting Ethan Robson back from Blackpool. We have had two bids rejected and it's pretty obvious they are just trying to squeeze a little more money out of us as he wasn't played after being recalled.

Ah well, that's what happens when a club see you sell another player for a decent sum.

Sounds like it might be moving ahead though according to one of our well connected fans, so that’s promising considering my main worry was they were using him to get Brannigan from Oxford, and if he’d have played for Blackpool they couldn’t sell him anywhere but to us.

Akinde is a strange player
His biggest problem is his attitude, it stinks!
Clearly didn't like here despite the club bending over backwards to find his wife a job (who fell pregnant not long after! )
Scored 17 goals in our promotion season but half were penalties but he was involved in a good chunk of our goals that season, but he did lot of chances considering he was our record signing and best paid.
I thought moving back down south would sort him out but he's even worse at Gillingham!
33 in the summer so last payday at Colchester, mind if they drop out the league he'll be at the level he scores for fun, mind he got loads for Barnet in league two, like I say strange player.

Think he was all set to sign for Hull but failed the medical and ended up signing for us, which I think was a bit of a last resort. I don't think he ever got his head around it, started well but his form quickly fell off a cliff.

Burton have a massive squad and can't afford them on their crowds, 37 at the start of the window.

Seems like Kioso back to MK is a goer if we can get a couple in ourselves. Jones let slip in his interview after todays game that we have something akin to a gentleman’s agreement with them. So if he’s going anywhere seems like it’s back there.

Will Keane went off injured today, looked like a hamstring. I'd expect us to swing into action again if so. It would be nice if Newcastle stopped dicking around and gave Brighton the 15m they want for Dan Burn, so we can cash in our sell on.

Nope, we went into admin not liquidation. Sell on still applies.
Ah just wondered if Brighton offered you a settlement to ease cash flow back then.

What’s the likelihood of you bringing someone in? I don’t like the thought of having our business rely on another clubs if I’m honest, we missed out on Joe Worrall for that reason a few years ago, possibly even the season we got relegated.

Firstly Jones chats a heck of a lot of shite and often does the opposite of what he says in the press so we are already on shaky ground here doing any analysis on this but, I think it’s a bit weird of him to draw a link with kioso leaving and incomings, as it implies the incoming is a replacement for Kioso I.e a backup to Bree which would be needed if Kioso does leave given our schedule. At which point…just keep Kioso? Seems a waste of resources on our part if that’s what we do so I actually doubt whether it’s truely dependent on that or not.

Therefore reading between the lines and judging his actions and comments with Kioso during the entire time, I think it’s pretty likely you’ll get your man as I don’t think Jones fancies him to be honest. He’s just not what he’s looking for in a fullback, he wants an extremely attack minded player who puts in a good delivery. Kiosos strong defensively but just cannot compete with Bree when it comes to going forward.

Maybe Jones has said it to create a bit more interest and a bidding war. You don’t just slip up on stuff like that in an interview.

He can only play for us and Luton for the rest of the season though so that doesn’t really make sense unless there’s a club that rate him so highly they are happy not to use him until the summer.

I'd be surprised if Kioso is still a Luton Town player in 2 days time. I think he will sign permanently as he is out of contract at the end of the season.

I know we’ve bid for him and it was turned down because of a lack of cover. I just don’t want to build my hopes up because as I’ve mentioned above we’ve been stung by relying on other clubs to finish their business before.

People keep saying this but I think everyone is just totally guessing. We haven't released contract lengths for years so no one actually knows for sure. Im pretty sure this and the "Adebayo to Newcastle as hes only got 6 months on his contract" come from this - https://www.transfermarkt.com/luton-town/kader/verein/1031 where every player in the entire squads contract is listed as being up in the summer as they dont have any information to go on.
