We’ve signed CB Brandon Cooper on loan from Swansea. Had previous loan spells at Newport and Swindon.

Evatt and Bolton trying to fix the problem of the manager not being as good as he or the fans think by chucking coin around like last January
Provide proof......Been a manager 4 seasons 2 promotions
Not got a budget like Moore or blessed with players like Bannon and Windass but jog on

Coin starting to be chucked… bid accepted for an as yet unnamed player (not Nlundulu) to help our shit manager correct his mistakes (or something like that BarrieOwl) . I’ve no idea who it is.

Nlundulu looks like a loan bid with a view to a permanent in the summer if he impresses. Much happier with that try before you buy option but he has the chance to stay at Cheltenham too. Southampton have left the decision upto him. Us or them.

Saxon Earley joins from Norwich for an undisclosed fee. Been on loan at table topping Stevenage and seems to have come on leaps and bounds. Cant remember the last time we actually bought two players in a single transfer window which is more proof that the club is moving in the right direction.

We will do well to keep Aaron Collins for much longer. Currently leads both top scorer (joint) and assists in L1 with 13 and 10 respectively....cant say ive seen someone topping both charts at the same time, and thats in a midtable side!
Luckily for us he signed a new contract in the summer and Barton has slapped a 5 million price tag on his head

This will be really interesting going forward. He loves it here, but obviously if someone like West Brom come calling, you can hardly blame him. However, he signed a new contract in July and is under contract for another 2.5 years.

So then whats he worth? Keep in mind that this is hiss first season really at this level

If Peterborough got 4 million for Jack Marriott 5 years ago then i'd say thats the minimum we should be looking for. As you well know he is a superb athlete, matchwinner and involved in pretty much everything good we produce.
The only negative thing I can think of is that he can try to do too much (ie take on too many players) and ends up losing the ball. He did this on the edge of our own box in the 1st half yesterday that was almost costly.

In a way, I really hope he chooses Bolton - if only because if we keep him the fans will be on his back quite quickly.

I honestly can't see him fitting into Bolton's team. He's not a great finisher (though he's scored a few great goals), he dallies on the ball and, as I mentioned before, he really doesn't like doing the hard yards that I'm sure Evatt will insist on.

Morgan Whittaker might be recalled by Swansea City so I think we'll be in again for Harvey Knibbs or another attacking midfielder.

Fair enough. I’ll give him every chance to prove himself if he comes but sounds underwhelming. At least with a loan it would be relatively risk free.

Does seem a strange one. Maybe Evatt is wanting a bit more physicality up front, someone for Dion Charles to play off and thinks he can coach N'Lundulu up. Is he any good in the air?

Cant argue with that, although the transfer market seems to have dropped off since then, since Covid. I'd be happy with £3m tbh. The reality is that we could sign some top players with that money with some fees & wages over the next 6 months and become a team to actually challenge the top 6 IMO.

If we can keep him until the end of the season he will be worth even more as I can see him continuing this form alongside Coburn, and we would still have him contracted for another 2 years
Who knows, another successful January window and we could be challenging the top 6 with him still playing for us...

Plays every week. Incredible work rate but does miss chances. Think he’s got 8 in 21 this season but should have double that really. We are looking for a regular partner to play with him. He needs a target man/physical striker alongside to get the best out of him I think and bodvarsson has been injured nearly all season.

Sounding like Rekeem Harper will be going back to Ipswich. Hasn't played a minute under Caldwell and wasn't on the bench on Saturday

We're being linked with Kyle Hudlin who's on loan at Wimbledon from Huddersfield. His stats don't look great to be honest.

Isn’t he the one that is like 6ft10? Tallest player in league football?
