He is far from being a lightweight. In fact his upper body strength is one of his best attributes, hardly ever saw him knocked off the ball, which surprised me for a kid playing his first league games
Just what was said by someone who has been fairly reliable in terms of transfer stuff. I've never seen him kick a ball.

Anderson would be the best player in the league if signed by a L1 club.

Apparently Bristol Rovers, Morecambe and Forest Green are all interested in taking Marc Leonard on loan. Swansea and Preston both want him permanently. He is a young CM who we have currently on loan from Brighton.

He has been fantastic so far, always wants to be on the ball, very composed, happy to make a tackle also. We are more fluid than our teams of previous years have been but think he would look even better in a team with better individuals around him.

Would be a blow losing a loanee halfway through our season, same thing happened with Kion Etete last season and we were not able to replace him adequately.

Agreed, and exactly why he wont be loaned to L1 as he needs to be tested at a better level. Their manager was unhappy he was loaned to us and not a Championship club last season.

We are being linked with Randell Williams today. Can he play wing back? What do Exeter fans think of him?
Hmmm not convinced he’s wing back material to be honest. When we had him he played as a winger on either flank.

He was our POTY in his first full season…full of pace and skill, plus decent in the air for a wide player.

He very nearly went to Peterborough the following season, but it fell through and was half the player for us. Seemed to sulk a bit. If you get the best out of him, he’d be decent at L1 level.

Schumacher confirms we’ve had a bid rejected for Knibbs and ‘might’ go back in for him in the summer.

Feels a bit like playing Football Manager in real life at the moment with the business we’re doing, great to see we are showing so much intent though!

You can get round it with Sponsorship as well can't you? Hence a lot of clubs owners sponsor their own clubs shirts/stands/stadiums like us with Synectics (Carol's company) or Sheffield Wednesday with Chansiri etc etc. FGR with Ecotricity
Not anymore, sponsorships are bench-marked I think (vaguely recall it coming into play as a result of when MacAnthony first took over at Posh and paid a silly amount for their shirt sponsorship IIRC).

Looks like Nlundulu is done. Loan with an option to buy in the summer. Reports today linking us with Macauley Bonne too after he was released by QPR. Unsure if any truth in that one
He'll have to improve a lot for you to consider exercising that option IMO!

We're being loosely credited with interest in loan moves for our ex-players Tayo Edun (sold to Blackburn 18 months ago) and Anthony Scully (sold to Wigan in the summer but only played about half an hour). Both play positions we'll be looking to strengthen I imagine. It was an excellent left hand side two seasons ago albeit in a 4-3-3 Michael Appleton side.

FGR are being linked with Jordon Garrick, who we have on a season long loan from Swansea, and I suspect we'll cut his loan short anyway so I can't see him being here for much longer, if not already back at Swansea.

I rate Scully massively. Wouldn’t mind him at ours to be honest. Good player

Seems like we’re signing Ex Wolves captain center back Ryan Bennett.

Difficult to tell really, he had a good debut (off the bench against you, I think), picked up the odd niggle and there were suggestions something had either happened closer to home and/or he couldn't settle for some reason and was sent back to Swansea for a bit to sort his head out, but even after his return he hasn't been in squads so I suspect he's been back there again for a while now.

In the minimal amount of action he saw here his performances were a bit hot and cold but a powerful runner with a bit of pace. End product hit and miss but whose isn't in L1 and L2. When he's bad, he's very bad though - he got hauled off at Bristol Rovers because he couldn't actually get anywhere near the football or track a runner, he was well off it. Not seen since early to mid-November.

He's played for us and Wigan this season so his only loan options are us or into the NL and I can't see him doing the latter. Not sure whether that rule changes when it becomes a permanent, but I'm not sure Wigan would look to sell him so soon after signing him considering they could be back in L1 next season and he's a good L1 player. Maybe not top, top, Sheffield Wednesday/Ipswich (or this season, Plymouth) type but I've no doubts that if we'd been able to keep him in the first half of the season we'd be a few more points better off.

Slightly concerned that he hasn’t managed a goal or assist for you this season and we’ve given him an 18 month deal, but I guess the hope is he can find a bit of form a bit nearer to home.

Tbf a lot of our signings are like that and a lot have worked out in the recent past, although more recently we’ve been more scattergun and very hit and miss. He’s our 19th new signing this season.

Suspect the answer is whether the fan is from Lincoln or Plymouth. The fact he is going back to Swansea suggests he has not done it at the Imps. However, I and quite a few others, wanted him to stay with us. Indeed, the evidence suggested that last year that Garrick was the more impactful out of him and Whittaker. He is fast, the only one that could touch Hardie for speed. As an ex-Rugby league winger he is fairly robust. He has a good shot on him and scored some decent goals. However, he could also be very naive and a headless chicken running down cul-de-sacs. I liked him and there is real potential there, in terms of speed, eye for goal and ability to run with the ball, but he needs good coaching in making the right decisions. He is also a very likeable and exuberant character. Lincoln did not appear to get a tune out of him, but use him wisely and you should/could. Certainly the lad we had last year is worth a punt for you.

We've watched Everton U21s a few times this season. Some fans seem to think we'll be in for Tom Cannon after missing out on Cameron Archer.

Just guesswork though I think.
Alan Nixon saying we've made a late move for him.

Not that I believe much that bellsmash says.

Barnsley sign Max Watters on loan for the rest of the season. Puts to bed the rumour of him coming here!

Luongo is all but done.

We want Hirst and Wolves winger Corbeanu, but talks not so advanced.
