Dapo confirmed to St Pauli. Final fee around 500k plus sell on % which is quite a bit less than if we had sold in the summer. Change of shape hasn’t helped him. As a left winger he is incredible but when we switched to wing backs we tried him up front and in the 10 (even a couple of games at wing back)… but he just wasn’t quite as effective. Still had moments of individual brilliance but hopefully we can reinvest in players that are better suited to this system. I’ll miss him… one of my favourite players of our rebuild in the past 2 years but also feel with 18 months left on his deal it is the right decision.

He's a cracking defender - wins everything in the air and will put himself about in both boxes. Lacking in pace a bit, so worked very well in our 3 where others cleared up for him, but a decent League 1 defender.

As I said before, it seems crazy, but I wouldn't have him back myself right now because I think we have better, but if he's available in the summer (not sure of his deal with Watford) I'd love us to be in for him when Caleb Taylor goes back to WBA.

Yes, and Josh Griffiths was called up but I don't think he played.

Jack Butland, of course, made his Great Britain and England debuts having only played League football for Cheltenham Town. We don't mention it much though...
