Stockport have 40 players on the books, there won't be room for him there.

Challinor is still aspiring for more manpower, the limit is endless with him.

Going to be awkward when someone tells him about squad registration limits.

Lets look at the stats then shall we. Some of these accusations are libellous.

We currently have 18 players that need to be registered. Which is four short of the allocated amount.

Mansfield have 24. Which is 2 too many.

Wrexham have 24. Which is 2 too many.

Evatt has said close of play when the window shuts we will have a squad way stronger than any he has managed.
Four more are coming in, but we will have to off load a couple or he may have a couple of u21 loans lined up
One will certainly be a rwb

I make it 20 outfield players aged 21+ for us (which is still well short of the scattergun approach of Foul-The-Keeper Clough and Jurassic Parkinson)

Well I consider my last post in this thread a resounding success.

FYI Mansfield figures are incorrect.

To be fair to Stockport they've shipped out all their old men and got a team full of kids

Wait I’m confused, you researched Mansfield squad but not your own?

Add Will Evans to it maybe aswell btw :D

How many players do you lot have that are expected to play a part in the first team but are u21?
I research everything pal. I'm the font of all knowledge.

I think Forza is counting a couple that don't need to be named age wise but probably will to make up the homegrown element to the rules.

Barry, Fevrier, Pye (his birthdate is wrong on the sites, he's born in 2003), Adaramola (out for three months), Mellon (looks like he might be out for the season) and Jid Okeke are u21 and will or would be used by us this season. Cody Johnson may feature at times too but hopefully we can get him out on loan.

They are usually announced a few days after the window shuts.

What happened with the guy Wrexham thought was out of contract and released him but then he informed them he had 1 year left on his deal?

Suggestion that we are interested in Mathurin from Palace on loan.

Also suggested that Northampton have beaten us to it.

The same outlet who broke the story about us signing the Hungarian lad the other day are now claiming we’ve had a bid accepted for Jordi Osei-Tutu a RWB who plays for Bochum. Pretty concerning that he’s 25 & only has sixty odd appearances to his name seems a gamble

Where are these left field signings coming from? do you normally scout abroad?

Rumour Stevenage and Crawley are in for Jake Young from Bradford.

He cannot get into their side ahead of Andy Cook but he had an excellent 6 months on loan at Swindon last season.

We need a forward, he will beseech fodder at Stevenage.

No not in recent years, we had a lot of success in the Scandinavian market a few decades ago with the likes of Eidur Gudjohnsen/Per Frandsen/Claus Jensen ect then obviously under Big Sam he was massive on in bringing in players from all sorts of leagues/countries. Under Evatt we’ve always stuck to UK based players besides one or two in 4 years. We expanded the scouting to Europe last year & a new company appeared as a B-Class shareholder on our books a few month ago which turned out to be ex-Liverpool head of data Ian Graham’s new company (Ludonautics) who specialises is Data/Analytics which we’ll be attempting to get the best bang for our buck transfer wise. Who knows how it’ll turn out but we need to get our transfers right this season as it could well be Evatt’s last chance with us.

Sky also reporting us & Hibs have had bids rejected for Dundee captain Luke McGowan. Good age and decent stats in the SPL but we need to get a few of these over the line now.

Worth a punt, there isn't a great deal of value in the domestic market.

I love a random signing. Your team around 2003 with Djorkaeff, Okocha, Campo, Stelios, Frandsen etc is still my favourite ever Premier League team.

We employ a company called Ludonautics who Liverpool use on the continent....They are Masters at Data basically, and reccomend players to certain clubs.
This Jordei Osei-Tutu is not really left foot as you think............Started at Arsenal Went to Bochum in Germany, but has been sent out on loan to Forest, Cardiff and Rotherham in the last few years

He played on loan for us from Jan 22 for 14 games.
Scored a 96th minute equaliser against Sutton at Wembley, which we went on to win 4 2.

It was so important as we were in really poor form and looking like blowing promotion having been way out in front.
The confidence we gained from winning at Wembley got us back in the race and he finished up with a runners up medal to go with the Wembley win.

We hoped he would come back for the following season but I think Arsenal wanted to sell him and he chose a 3 year deal at Bocham.

Another one from that transcended both of both Bolton eras, Ricardo Gardner. His son Che Gardner plays for our academy and he's played a fair amount of minutes this pre-season, looks a good player, only 16 I think.

There was a fans forum tonight at Crawley and along with the moans about soggy chips and broken hand dryers (I'm not lying about the dryer) it was said we have an attacking player completing a medical tomorrow and if he passes we will sign him (presuming him but ..).

You gave Dobson 4x the wages that we offered.

He knows it’s true just trying to downplay it like bias supporter should

Clough is not the sort to bullshit or usually even comment on stuff like this, he didn’t mention a figure just that ourselves and Peterborough was completely blown away by a huge amount. Frustrating for us because we actually managed to just outdo Peterborough.

I don't deny we offered more, that bit is obvious, but I don't believe we're offering 3x like Darragh said. If you and Peterborough were offering £3k (and let's face it, it isn't less) then 3x that would make him our highest earner.

Above Mullin, Lee, Okonkwo, McClean... no chance.

Also, a Mansfield fan talking about me downplaying our finances is as pot kettle black as it comes.

Did Darragh actually say 3x specifically regarding Brunt and Wrexham? I listened to the podcast and did not hear that but may have missed it. I don’t think he mentioned Brunt at all to be honest. He did say fair play to Wrexham though.

You literally haven’t got a clue about our finances obviously but we were pretty clear where about we stood last season, I know we are now spending a six figure sum for the first time under Clough so I suppose it’s natural for you to try and make that fee go up in size in true TFF style

No-one knows what other clubs finances are. We have to stick to SCMP like everyone else. We will be offering attractive wages but it's nothing we can't afford, and we aren't chucking around large transfer fees like some other clubs. Yet, anyway.

SCMP is really easy to get by.

Owners and managers know exactly what other clubs are offering players, and that’s what we are on about! Personally have no problem with you lot offering Brunt a lot more, pretty much every club does it to some extent and unless you’re at the top it happens to everyone.
