I remember Faal being a gangly nuisance for Donny and Walsall, not sure how that translates into big L1 money however

(Presume I've got the right Mo Faal this time, not the Crawley one)

Yes that's the right one. A gangly nuisance sounds about right.

Wish it was our one, never saw him once and has already been released due to poor attitude, along with Gonzales from Bournemouth who was only on loan

I was quite surprised at how excited Wigans fans seem to be to signing Jensen Weir, he was absolutely dire for us last season at this level!

so with Luke Bolton, Wrexham wanted his wages paid in full which is understandable you would think, the problem? That would mean he’d be our highest paid player. lol.

Fair play to him and Brunt like, picking up obscene wages to do fuck all.

On the other end of the scale sounds like we’ve potentially beaten Northampton to signing Ben Waine.

We have signed Gatlin O’Donkor on loan from Oxford. Someone Oxford fans expected to be loaned out to L2 or conference :hb:

We call it the Wrexham tax. I'm half expecting players to leave, but from the player perspective, you'd sit around not playing games and collecting your wages for free damn nearly.

Can't say I blame him, but Bolton is a player that isn't even good enough for league 2 football for us.

Brunt will play this season, Parkinson just likes to take his time to integrate new players. Bolton can play cards with Billy Waters on the bench and count their money.

Confirmed Diabate gone to Bradford on loan.
Shame, but Caldwell seems obsessed with ball playing centre backs, and he isn't that

It's not really Wrexham tax is it? You offered him those wages 6 or 7 months ago. Nobody forced you too.

Wrexham tax would be when a club puts up their transfer fee because you get involved which I'm sure does happen/

And then again, not the players fault you won't accept wage percentage contribution on a loan and only the full amount. How long has he got on his contract? Another three years? He's not going to toss that away.

Obsessed!?

I like what Caldwell is trying to implement in our squad. Cheick didn’t fit that, so completely fine with him moving on. Also, with a break clause in the loan we can always bring him back if we need him. Good business from the club.

Brunt will be your best defender given the chance.

Shane about Bolton, written off by you lot but highly regarded elsewhere, sometimes it just doesn’t fit.

Crawley throwing six figures about
£1000.99 maybe.

We have received a few bob in transfer fees this window. Lolas, Kelly, Orsi etc and haven't splashed out really.

Still nothing official though.

It’s a significant sum, MK also in for him.

Unless of course it’s a loan.

Same, or maybe we are browsing the charity shops. So far a bloody Oxford youngster on loan.

I'm one of the few who hasn't completely written Bolton off. I reckon there will be a point where Barnett missed a few games and Bolton comes in and wins people over. He looked pretty good in pre-season.

Playing Bolton and Revan against anyone who has a slow flat defence would be brilliant.

Absolutely it is. Any agent wanting their client to get the best deal to move will add on extra to their wages to entice them to us, for us to get them. If we can accommodate their wages in our budget, then we will.

It’s not fair to say that because we are not competing at the rock bottom end of L1. At the same time we’ve clearly been taken back by the financial demands of our targets. Under Clough we will always be financially responsible.

I’m expecting DKD and Swan to go today. Replacements are not a given.

This is the issue we had, we went in all responsible but rarely got our targets as the demands became ridiculous hence we didn't get any strikers in pretty much of any quality.

Fine if you want to keep giving goals away by trying to pass it out of defence. Let's keep doing that.

To be fair we are selling Will Swan for more than we paid for Will Evans.

I do rate Swan but I reckon Evans is an upgrade.

DKD deal is just dependent on a medical now. Club record fee.

Signed Spurs youngster Josh Keeley on loan for the season, he’s a keeper who played at Barnet last season.

Competition for Zach Hemming, Sam Howes our other keeper isn’t good enough for this level.

Of course we can’t be silly but if swan goes (fair enough he’s not done what we expected and wasn’t ever going to start) if DKD comes in there needs to be a suitable replacement / and that isn’t that lad who comes from NZ who’s goal scoring record is horrific.

Allegedly looking at Norwich’s young striker Ken Aboh with a view to a loan move.

Could be the next Defoe, or could be the next Muskwe - loans are so unpredictable.
Aboh now gone to Stevenage
