Signing number 14 is Malik Wilkes on a season long loan, making 3 players signed from our neighbours Sheffield Wednesday.

Hopefully we'll get the Doncaster and Hull version rather then the Owls one.

He has been a good player in this league and looked like he would have a bright future in the game.

I'm hoping he's keen to get back on track and Evans can get the best out of him.

Signed Kamari Doyle on loan from Brighton. Midfielder, exactly what we need

Yeah, seems a good loan signing. Can play in a variety of midfield roles and is good with both feet. Lovely stuff.

Crawley have signed Tolo Showumi from Louisville City. 83rd in the MLS draft pick it seems.

Actually a London lad who went to USA on a soccer scholarship and is now coming home. 6'3 centre forward I've never heard of.

Signed Spurs youngster Jamie Donley on a season long loan, can play as an attacking midfielder or as a striker.

Probably just need a central midfielder now, MIGHT go in for a left back but I think Wellens will stick with Tom James and Jayden Sweeney until January at least.

That seems like a good signing, I’m sure he’s highly thought of at Spurs?

We are still looking at a couple coming in and out.

Clough mentioned Tom Nichols is likely to go out on loan, while rumours persist about bids for DKD and Will Swan.

We continue to have an ever changing list of forward players we are apparently signing but nothing ever seems to happen. The glaring hole in our squad.

Expect blues to sign 1 or 2 this week, a few interesting names linked but i am sceptical, Lyndon Dykes from QPR and Jayson i like to have a punch up in a friendly Molumby. Would not mind both but am sceptical as i say

We’ve signed Marc Leonard’s replacement at last.

And how do you replace a technical ball playing midfielder from Brighton? By getting another of course. Samy Chouchane signs on for the season.

Be interesting to see if/how we use him and Dibley-Dias together. On the face of it they seem quite similar?

Justin Obikwu also apparently signing, possibly today as well.

Are you anticipating being able to name 22 players per match like Davies wants?
Anything else?

In all seriousness its affected what we are trying to do, but imagine with the size of our football club with our power id expect us to be able to get the rules changed, yes hahaha

We've loaned George Moncur to Southend for the rest of the season, more than played his part in our title winning season despite a bit of a dip in form for 2 months, but last season he was poor value for money being one of the clubs highest earners.

He's the wrong side of 30, suffers with asthma and simply can't run as much anymore.

Hope we're able to reinvest the money in a left back and central midfielder now.

Swedish media are claiming we're close to signing Erik Ring from AIK. A 22 year old left winger, which is interesting because we don't play with wingers so I'm assuming he'll be an attacking wing back.
The same Swedish journalist reckons everything is agreed and he flew over today to complete the formalities. Doesn't appear as though we're going to opt for defensive minded wing backs this season!

I thought I’d seen that Dibley Dias is a bit more direct and Chouchane is the tempo man

Sounds like we’re signing Josh Stokes on loan from Bristol City.

Scorer 18 goals from midfield for aldershot last season.

Highly rated
Gonna rip league one apart

Good chance Tom Nichols and Will Swan are off, the latter I imagine will take a sizeable fee if permanent.

Both will be replaced so expecting a few late deals for some forwards. For me we need an extra defender in, even if it’s a young lad on loan.

We've had Marosi on trial for our u21s. Club legend for gifting Pratley a goal in the Playoffs when he was at Doncaster. Not one I'd be delighted with. We were looking for an experienced number one for Mannion to learn off but I'd rather have Manion number one than Marosi.

I actually recommended him to Orient when he was at AFC Sudbury. Good short-area quickness; likes to ghost past his defender with a shoulder dip and get the ball in the box. Lovely crosser of the ball and can use both feet. Good at getting on the end of crosses from the other flank too. Lacks physicality and sometimes shirks defensive duties. Not great in the air but will compete. Good temperament and attitude for the most part but can react to rough treatment.

Think the leap from National League to Championship was far too big for him and I’m not sure he’ll ever crack the second tier. Think he’ll be very green at the start. Would have been looking for a League Two loan for him but I suppose signing for Cambridge is about the closest thing to that.

There were other league one clubs in for him but I suppose we've won the race based on location and play time.

I did wonder if we’d look at him. We needed a 10 and with Bristol only being up the road. Hey ho. Ended up getting Doyle from Brighton instead to fill that spot.

Think Stokes will be a good signing for you if played correctly.

He'll certainly get plenty of chances because we are creating lots but putting none away.

As I mentioned above, maybe we got him based on location with him being from Sudbury originally. 15 goals from midfield in the national league last season so clearly knows where the onion bag is.

On paper it looks a very good signing.
