I think Stockport tried to make it happen but Villa only wanted to loan him out. They know how to make good money on their youngsters.

I'm concerned they'll recall Kesler-Hayden from us in January too and either sell him to help with FFP or loan him to a bigger hitter in the Championship.

Fair points. I'm sceptical there's anything in it, we're already well stocked for wide men and we seem to be favouring a wingback system again.

One of our GK's, Zak Jeacock, has gone on loan to Southend until the New Year so we're down to the normal two now.

He was supposed to go in pre-season but Pardington got injured, then Wickens got concussion at Peterborough and then he himself got concussion in a car accident after making his debut!

I wasn't sure he'd handle the step up into the Football league but he came on a lot at the end of last season and has been one of our best performers this year. An old fashioned winger of the type you rarely see nowadays.

He wouldn't be cheap. It's not like we need to sell.

Also, why would you want to actively leave us? Bezzie mates with Ryan Reynolds and anyone he brings with him. And a lovely couple of trips to 'merica in the space of 2 months. You won't get that with Preston or Stoke.

We all support our clubs, we all defend when when we think people are chatting sh*t about them. I'm not sure I'm any different to anyone else tbh. I've been a Wrexham fan for over thirty years, I've been on all these sites a decade ago when we were bloody terrible having to put up with fans of other clubs taking the piss so I'm sorry if I stick up for us now and again.
