It's a bit like Scott Sinclair for us, once their main asset (pace) deserts them, they offer little else.
Yeah. From the little I’ve seen, it looks like he’s still got pace, which is quite impressive considering his age. Hopefully he can make a positive impact for us.

Can't believe it was fifteen years a go he played for us.

Signed Nesta Guinness-walker (great football and drink name). Two of our LB’s are out for several months so we needed cover. No idea if he’s any good. Anyone?

Connal Trueman joins Crawley on an emergency loan for an initial 7 day period. No idea if he is any good. Most games in a season was for Wimbledon which is ironic as they are our next game.

Available v AFC Wimbledon (Tuesday)and Shrewsbury.

Our keeper on international duty, our reserve injured.

Jovan Makama signs a new deal until 2027.

Quite the turnaround for a young lad who was heading out to Peterborough Sports on loan this time last year (then Kennedy got sacked) and now he's started the season leading the line in L1.

I've seen talk of us possibly looking at loaning Louie Barry in January. Is he an out & out winger?

Stockport are not loaning Barry out in January, just signed him and he’s their best player makes no sense.

Agreed, which is why it's a good job he's only on loan from Villa who can recall him in January.

For some reason I thought they got him permanently this summer.

Definitely can step up to the championship, be a massive loss for Stockport if Villa decide he needs to make that move in January.

I think Stockport tried to make it happen but Villa only wanted to loan him out. They know how to make good money on their youngsters.

I'm concerned they'll recall Kesler-Hayden from us in January too and either sell him to help with FFP or loan him to a bigger hitter in the Championship.

Wide forward in the modern game. Not the old school out and out winger who whips balls in etc.

Anybody from the Championship who puts the money down to Villa, he's theirs but it'll probably cost them more than they think.

If we're talking loans, I genuinely think a full season in League One may suit him more. He flits in and out a bit at this level to be honest. I think he's great but not convinced he'd take the Championship by storm straight away and suddenly Villa may find his value becomes less and his potential suitors for the summer get narrowed down if he has a dodgy few months in the Champ.

Fair points. I'm sceptical there's anything in it, we're already well stocked for wide men and we seem to be favouring a wingback system again.

That would be perfect as we play Stockport on 11th Jan. Not that they will need him the way we've been playing

One of our GK's, Zak Jeacock, has gone on loan to Southend until the New Year so we're down to the normal two now.

He was supposed to go in pre-season but Pardington got injured, then Wickens got concussion at Peterborough and then he himself got concussion in a car accident after making his debut!

We’ve got a Grenada GK coming in on trial for some reason.

Just signed free agent Tyreece John-Jules. Ex Arsenal but never played. Been on loan at Lincoln, Donny and Ipswich.

His record says he is a one goal in four striker but it's hard to say with youngsters as they tend to play as subs and such

We're supposedly monitoring Ryan Barnett at Wrexham. Stoke too.

I wasn't sure he'd handle the step up into the Football league but he came on a lot at the end of last season and has been one of our best performers this year. An old fashioned winger of the type you rarely see nowadays.

He wouldn't be cheap. It's not like we need to sell.

Also, why would you want to actively leave us? Bezzie mates with Ryan Reynolds and anyone he brings with him. And a lovely couple of trips to 'merica in the space of 2 months. You won't get that with Preston or Stoke.

Sounds like Chris Sedgwick. If we're looking at him, we must be anticipating Kesler-Hayden returning to Villa.

Is this tongue in cheek?

Hard to know these days, I think you've picked up a few nutjob fans.

If that post came from EnglishRed or his co-support Chief then you can assume it’s legit, but any other Wrexham fan on here is a tad more grounded.

The irony of Mansfield fans calling others unhinged.

Best manager and keeper in the league isn't it? I'm perfectly grounded.

We all support our clubs, we all defend when when we think people are chatting sh*t about them. I'm not sure I'm any different to anyone else tbh. I've been a Wrexham fan for over thirty years, I've been on all these sites a decade ago when we were bloody terrible having to put up with fans of other clubs taking the piss so I'm sorry if I stick up for us now and again. Just put me on ignore if you don't want to read my posts.
