Another signing for us today - Ebou Adams from Norwich on loan until January.

He describes himself as a 'box to box' midfielder. Doubt he'll play much unless we get injuries. Ogogo, Nolan and Norris will all be ahead of him.

Been very decent at youth level. Wonder if he can make the step up.

We have signed a backup keeper, Robbert te Loeke, from Dutch second division side Achilles 29. Nice symmetry with Jamie Ness.

He's quality, so hands off. I'd be surprised if he moved to you guys though.
There's more chance of him playing in the Championship with Scunny than Lincoln at present also I would expect they can afford to pay more so not impossible

Quite surprised Woodyard is going to play in L1. He never looked like he had the quality or even the potential to make it when he was with us as a youngster. Credit to him though.

The hints here are that Carey set to re-sign for Argyle tomorrow after a revised contract offer. Apparently, Adams has been up in Scotland with their agent (they share the same agent) trying to thrash out a deal.

Here's hoping

According to a couple of ITK'ers, Scunthorpe are offering to more than treble his current wage and offer him a signing on fee that'd go a fair way to buying him a house, so I dread to think what the outlay would be including a transfer fee.

We've offered him a new deal.

One way to put him off is to explain what happened with Margetts and Boyce when they moved to Scunny. Signed from us for nearly £100k between them and hardly played.

I see we've put in a bid for Nichols of Peterboro but at present doesn't match your chairmans valuation.
Is he any good ?

Just sold our 16-year-old keeper Joe Bursik to Stoke, the second youth keeper in two years to go to a Premier League club. Previous one will earn us up to £425K plus 20% sell-on so this is likely to be the same sort of figure.

Pity we haven't got any senior keepers apart from one who has only made 3 appearances. We really, really need to reinvest this fee to get one.

He was very good for us. He's quite lightweight but will run all day plus he's a decent finisher.

I believe his divides opinion at Peterborough a bit but imo would be a decent signing for you as he's very young still. I wonder what their valuation is?

You can have Etheridge. I'd personally deliver him to you for free

Johnathan Bond gone to Peterborough on loan.

Someone who really needs to kick start their career.

As said above he's lightweight and can go missing in games when the crowd turns. His footballing intelligence and movement is very good but he was playing with a bunch of clowns that couldn't take advantage. His finishing was woeful though,

I'm mildly excited/amused that we now have Loeke Ness, how will I be able to control myself if this is true?

Couple of departures today, Billy Knott has signed for Lincoln on a permanent deal which comes as no surprise, and nor does Bradley Dack joining Blackburn - although the initial fee of £750,000 is a bit higher than I was expecting. Good luck to both.

Yeah, decent money in the circumstances. I'll echo the good luck to both too

Good luck to dack and knott.

No doubt we won't see a penny of that money put back into the squad

Sounds crazy but apparently we maybe getting Rickie Lambert. Few sources down here reckon so. At Cardiff with Warnock so this rumour could have legs. Warnock loves us and the South west, would be an interesting signing.

I know it's a long shot but does anyone recognise this trialist?

Walsall, Rochdale and Shrews fans. Olly Lancashire? 28 year old centre back supposed to be signing for us today? What kind of player can we expect?

Expected to make another signing today - it's going to be uninspiring!

Has Dack gone downhill? remember your lot touting him for a top Championship move not too long back

He's still more than good enough for the Championship, and will be there sooner rather than later (most likely with Blackburn as they'll probably go straight back up). Would've been hard to replicate his 15/16 form last season, especially with the shitstorm of a squad around him but he was still one of the better players in the league. As it is, goalscoring midfielders are a valuable commodity, so Blackburn have got a cracking deal. Seeing as he only had a year left on his deal, I'm not displeased with the transfer either.

Fair enough, yeah Blackburn look like early favourites, especially if they keep Graham.

It's not a bad fee if he only had 12 months left.

Dom Poleon from us, it's alleged. Started well but very much a squad player after Christmas so not fussed. If you take Jake Reeves too, which sounds very likely, that's a different matter which would weaken us more than it would strengthen you.

Is that from a reasonable source? Up here he was 'spotted at the training ground' which I would take with a massive pinch of salt. Would be an incredibly uninspiring signing if so, the Jake Reeves interest on the other hand was confirmed by the club the other day.

Rumours we are signing Christian Walton on loan from Brighton. I saw him a few times playing for Luton, but how did he do at Southend? Cheers
