Also this Sonny Bradley stuff is a bit odd. Very strange selection of clubs supposedly after him, at least to me in any case. Is he actualy any good? Sounds like agent talk to drum up interest or a better contract

Looks to me like he's just waiting to see who comes up with the most cash. Fair enough, I suppose.

Godden was linked with us a few times over the last couple of years, will be interesting to see how he does for the Posh.

Our goalkeeper Mark Oxley has signed a new 3 year deal. Quality news that a few clubs will know how good he is Bristol Rovers are definitely one our game away there last year we lost but he was astounding. Our player of the year last season and rightfully so

We were close to signing Godden a couple of transfer windows ago, he was all set to sign before Roland decided he wanted to pay less than the agreed fee and Stevenage pulled out of the deal.

No doubt he’ll score a bundle in the two games against us next season.

Josh Ginnelly has returned to us on a 1 year deal, was previously on loan 2 seasons ago.

I'm just happy we have a winger and don't have to play a fullback there like last season.

Apparently Rovers were interested in keeping him after his loan spell. Had a MoM performance in the play-off semi, scored a great goal early in his spell with us, but overall not sure he’ll be up to this level. His pace will certainly get some goals, don’t recall him being a great crosser of the ball, but if any winger is good news...

Can't imagine Ginnelly being up to L1 standard.

He wasn’t even first choice for us when we had a fully fit squad. We were hoping to keep him as a backup though.

In other news I really hope Walsall don’t take James Alabi

Best keeper in the league I think we were told at the beginning of last season?
To be fair he looked very good in pre season and had an outstanding season for Peterborough the season before.

Mark Gillespie has gone up to Scotland to play for Motherwell. Surely means another 'keeper will come in? Unless they make Liam Roberts their first choice.

Liam Roberts has been first choice since December and has done fantastic, kept us up on his own with some of his saves. Gillespie was very poor to say the least. Proud of Liam Roberts considering he came through our system, had been on loan what felt like hundreds of times and played third or second fiddle for 5 or so seasons, even got released and then brought back in one summer!

We'll need another keeper, but one who's cheap, for cover though. Gillespie was on fairly large wages for us by all accounts so it's a big lift off our wage bill.

That's my lack of research there. Speaking of outgoings, what do you make of Erhun Oztumer's impending departure?

He's carried the team the past two seasons, we would have been relegated long ago without him. He's earned his payday wherever he goes.

But he also doesn't really fit into Dean Keates' 442 system that he's building towards next season anyway, so of course we'll miss him, but this is the best time for him to go.

Scunny fans, Neal Bishop still good enough for League 2? Apparently we're close to signing him.

As long as you don't require him to pass whatsoever. All he can do is win tackles.

I think that is exactly the case. I suspect he initially hoped we would dip heavily into our purse, but now he realises either we have not got any money (very likely) or Adams does not rate him as highly as Bradley does himself (reasonably likely). Be very surprised if he stays with us, but we had exactly the same will he won’t he last year with Carey. I would imagine Adams will give him a deadline.

Looks like he's off to Luton

Plymouth local rag now makes us favourites apparently. Whether it is based on anything other than the reporters opinion is debatable.

WE didn't fail to sign him, HE failed his medical.

I've actually seen him play a few times at Walsall, and while there is no doubting his ability and that Walsall would have been relegated without him, imo the issue is that a team needs to be built around him allowing him to do his thing, not slotting him into another team. Just my opinion.

Couple of rumoured outgoings on our end. Hakeeb Adelakun has told the club he’s leaving. We will get some compensation for him but probs won’t be much. A real talent, at a better club he might be able to unleash it more.

Also, we rejected a 500k bid for CB Murray Wallace from an unnamed championship club. He’s probably our best player but I think we will sell if someone bids a bit more.

Depends who the flack is writing it. If Chris Errington then there may be something in it, if by any of the others it may have been lifted from Pasoti.

To be fair, that is the guy who has written it. See what tomorrow brings.

If we do sign him then be interesting to see what that means for the other centre halves. Both Sheehan and Rea have signed new contracts and are ostensibly the starting pair at this point. The lad we signed from Liverpool who hasn’t really featured seems a real odd signing now really. Then got to think Musonda and Famewo days are well and truely numbered.

Maybe go 3 at the back more often perhaps? Unless Rea is seen as the long term replacement for McCormack.

I think Famewo has had his head turned, allegedly by a certain agent with LTFC connections and an unfortunate recent history of similar with our young players. I suspect he will go this summer. Musonda might stick around but doubt he will get much game time unless he reinvents himself as a right back.

If Bradley is our only centre back signing (if indeed he does sign) I suppose Lloyd Jones will have moved up the pecking order by default from last season when he was 5th choice, now he'd be 4th choice so I guess he will have chances to play especially if Rea is still used at DM (personally I hope he isn't, should look to settle in one position now and he's better at CB in my opinion).

Why does it seem that Wimbledon are always last to sign anyone ?

Oh you’re not.

We have no board in place, no manager and players who’s contracts are up.

Buzzing for next season already.
