Dujon Sterling in on a season long loan now confirmed. Sounds like a decent player.

Tom King on loan from Millwall will be our keeper next season. No idea, really.

Two new signings today so far. Peter Grant from Falkirk and Scott Wootton from MK Dons. Two centre backs. Also Tafari Moore pictured at Home Park. (RB released by Arsenal, on loan at Wycombe last season). Busy day!

Northampton fans seem to rate him so pleased enough. Puts the Doyle meltdown into perspective.

If you have a player with the surname Grant we may be after him. We now have Joel, Conor and today Peter. If there is a Grant Grant out there he is sure to be coming to Devon!

It’s rumoured that Tony McMahon is set to join us.
Enjoy, he’s absolutely pony but will take a good freekick/corner. Also if he thinks he’s gonna get a better contract elsewhere he will just have a month off.

We’ve also been linked with another old player of yours, Mark Marshall....

Marshall was brilliant for us in his second year of his contract. Got player of the year. Not sure why it didnt work out at Charlton but would suggest his injury didn’t help.

Is he any good?

We'd have been relegated long before had it not been for him. Pulled off some amazing saves, good command of his box, a very good league 1 keeper.

Also just thinking, he must have got MOM about 8 times for us between January and the end of the season.

Looks like we’re going to cash in on Dan Potts. Would expect it to be high 6 figures. Not bad for someone who was probably a year before, scrambling to save his career.

He improved massively last season and his threat from set pieces will be missed. A loss I think but if we get a decent fee (600k plus I’d be ok with) for him I’d be happy with that.

Bit sad that Potts and Lee, players who probably improved the most last season are leaving having had only 1 decent season for us but I guess that’s football.

If JJ ends up playing more then I’m not sure we’ll be any weaker

Tony McMahon now confirmed on a 2 year deal.
Not the worst, although hard to look at it through un bias eyes as he's just a massive bellend. Defensively he's slow and can get caught out to any half decent winger at this level, but no doubting his set pieces, although according to Karl Robinson he got 18 last season, not sure where he got that from I think he got 9 in the league and not sure he got any in the cups. He knows the game though and how to get under oppositions skin which comes in handy especially when you're ahead.

Didn't mind him until this season when he refused to play in January, then deliberately through the ball to Wigan with 30 seconds left because he was having a tantrum with a team mate, from which Wigan scored from costing us a point. Good riddance to him.

If you get Marshall that'd be a very good signing at this level if he could rediscover his 16/17 form.

Or £1.7m for a fourth choice striker isn’t a bad result. Which is the same amount as our third choice from last season too.

I fully expect your 1st and 2nd choice strikers to go for double the R4.7m you have missed out on by laughably considering Marriott your fourth choice! Obviously his face did not fit for other reasons.

Was hoping McMahon would drop out the league to be honest, will be unbearable on his return to Valley Parade, although maybe Oxford will have realised he’s crap and dropped him by then which we didn’t do last year. In fact we put him in defensive midfield where he was somehow even more out of his depth.

Potts notable by his absence in the pre season pics. Makes sense to sell with a year left on his contract and if we have just signed on a full back. Takes away some of our aerial threat however we just signed Bradley and Pearson so swings and roundabouts. Likelihood is Justin will play left back which will please everyone.

Our resident Twitter ITKer reckons we are speaking to two midfielders, one of which is Jorge Grant and says it is between us and Sunderland. Notts Forest one of the club's interested in Potts so maybe something can be done there.

He was great going forward but a bloody liability in defence i was so relieved when our right back Harriman came back from a long term injury leaving Moore on the bench.
He will be second choice anyway. Joe Riley will be first choice.

Early doors in the window but are you lot worried about losing Carey this summer he deserves a move more than most.

He was there apparently according to the local journo who was there also!

Grant would be a good signing, as Ive always thought he looks a classy player and the type NJ likes, but cant see us being able to compete with Sunderland for him unfortunately.

Its not really laughable, he just didn't fit the style of play that's all. We liked him I think but just where going in a bit of a different direction. I don't think he would have fulfilled his potential here because of that.

Its a reltaviely rare instance of things working out for everyone I think.

Just hurry up and sell him please!

Yea have since seen this. Have to see how it pans out. I like Potts, but if he isn't going to sign a contract we should cash in. He's not irreplaceable.

No idea how the Grant thing will go however all internet traffic has Him headed to Sunderland.

Maybe the recent death of his dad will drive him this coming season. His Dad was the one who told him he had to take this chance to succeed.

That assumes that Cameron Norman won't get in ahead of him as well.

Nope, heard absolutely zilch rumours re Carey this summer. He’s got very, very young children, his family seems to be settled here and he enjoys playing for Adams.

1 year left on his contract though so if he has another good season we will see how settled he really is. If someone does come in we may have to consider it. Wouldn’t begrudge him a move to the championship at all.
