Yeah he may well do a good job recording the away followings but surely it would be better saying the club's names instead of using Nick name's ground name's town name's that some people don't know

950 tickets go on sale for Mansfield away tomorrow.

Surely just an initial allocation?

We always do that. Don't worry. The away end is now 1600 (even though it's 1800). Why we do that with clubs that are obviously going to see out is beyond me, but heyho.

There will be no more than the 1600 or so (once increased) offered though.

What’s more irritating in the away support thread, that Lincoln fan who used to always announce the home crowd at Sincil Bank or a Coventry fan letting everybody know how many minutes it took to sell a certain amount of tickets!?!?

Allocation sold out - might have taken more otherwise.
Good to see another Wycombe fan on here mate we're up to 3 now  You're correct we easily would have taken more had we been given more tickets,i think we gave Luton around 1,000 tickets for the game at Adams Park earlier in the season so why weren't we given the same amount?

We took 1459 to yours. You don't normally bring a good following to ours which may account for the low allocation as well as the fact it was a midweek game. Your club probably didn't ask for a larger allocation for those reasons as well as the fact that tickets weren't being snapped up but instead sold out the day before the game. We can offer a max of just over a 1000 if the demand is there. Only Coventry and Lincoln have requested the maximum allocation.

Max available at Luton is 1032. How many you actually get depends on how many you initially ask for. Luton then sell the extra home tickets in the Oak Road End based on how many seats are left. Given the demand for tickets for the game, and how many were sold, the away allocation can't be changed at a couple of days notice. If we hadn't sold as many, we could perhaps have done.
So blame Wycombe, not Luton. They know their usual away support, but got it wrong this time.
So there.

218 Swindon tonight.....

definitely makes that Stevenage figure look odd for them.

The 225 at Stevenage on a rainy Tuesday night makes sense when you think just a few weeks before Swindon travelled to Stevenage in FA cup and got hammered 5-2.
I would have thought many Swindon fans would have given it a miss, whereas Accrington would be a new ground for nearly every Swindon fan.

Pretty sure Swindon have played Stanley before in the league and it's a fucking cold night up north.....

I think it’s more likely, that once you have been to Stevenage, why the hell would you want to go again!!
