Not true. Was previously DionsHead. Reputable poster and in the Hall of Fame. Can ask my good friend JJH about my validity. Cheers
I can, he's a well respected member of the board tbf lads. Welcome back my friend.

Thanks, shouldn't have to prove anything with my past but there's always one who wants to tell his mates in the pub 'I got a response from DionsHead'. Used to it by now, price you pay for being in the Hall of Fame.

This DionsHead seems a top lad. Fair play to him. Proper fans not afraid to speak their mind are what this place needs more of.

Yeah top lad, this is what he said back in the summer -

'Should piss this league. Got the best the squad so far. Will only be here for a year but look forward to meeting these pub team supporters.'

Tis a pity indeed we've only got a couple of months left then to enjoy his company.

We are the least visited away fixture in the whole football league, perhaps unsurprisingly since even though for a lot of fans we're only really a shade further or even closer than other places such as Morecambe, Hartlepool, Plymouth and Exeter and easier to get to by train than most; we're still a byword for remoteness and I think most fans believe that getting to Carlisle will involve an expedition of such magnitude that Michael Palin would shy away from it, booking three weeks off work, having your passport renewed and covering the last 50 miles by dogsled.

Could it be Stanley or Morecambe on some cold Tuesday night??

Or it's another typo like that 2 at Luton. I know Luton did ban away fans at one time but that was a long time ago!

Ours was played at Hartlepool that season on a Thursday night, only away league game I can ever remember where we took less than 100 away fans, around 85 I think it was.

I've gone to Carlisle once, I think it's a must do for any football fan to follow their team to the most out of the way places in the football league just to experience the pain of sitting in a coach for 6 hours, standing on a open terrace for 2 hours in the rain, snow and freezing weather and more than likely see your team lose just because it's there!
No I haven't done the 92, I'm to old now to do it...... but I've been to all 4 corners of England to watch my team , Brighton , Sunderland, Plymouth and Carlisle, I've travelled by car, train and coach to these venues....... and taken a couple of days hitching a ride back from one, hehe....
The reward for this, is being among a group of supporters, supporting the same team, who because of the journey together, have a special bond, a fellowship of the endeavour of the trip!

Cheers mate. A lot of people think I’m arrogant but they’re usually the ones who have never had a conversation with me. Weird. Just look at my honours list that does the talking for me.

Hall of Fame not once. Twice. 2 years running. 2016 and 2017.

Listen fella. I said so far very early on in the summer. We will still get promoted anyway so last laugh will be on me.

Does DH stand for Dick Head?

Original. Funny. No fella, stands for DionsHead. If you look up the Hall of Fame from 2016 and 2017 I’m in both. 2 years running.

When DionsHead posts activity increases. That’s a proven fact. I’m good for this forum and in many ways bigger than it. You’ll see a lot more of me in the coming weeks. Card has been checked.

:ffs:
anyone seen Carver or DH84 in the same room ??? :animatedf:

Heard you’re a decent poster. Not Hall of Fame worthy (twice not once) but a poster who will keep me on my toes.

Look forward to it. Coventry. Luton. Brothers in arms.

Have a quick look in the Russell Slade thread, he thinks getting in the play offs and losing in them is classed as a promotion ffs. :brill:

Not what I said at all fella. Said it’s a lesser promotion from normal league games to a play off knock out between 4 teams.

Yeah that was after I pulled you up on your original bullshit post.

Just had to explain what I meant. It’s hard sometimes when certain posters struggle with the English language.
