Luton Town topped the average away following for League 2 last season.

An average of 1211 would also be the 4th Highest in League 1 and 12th in Championship.

As a relative newbie, slightly surprised and almost impressed with Wycombe's away following and their home attendances are not bad either, even allowing for a very southern league. Glad to see we reached top 7 in overall attendances - although the actual promoted teams finished 4th, 6th, 15th and 17th (champions).

As Shoddy has said before, timing of matches against the big clubs for us also-rans is a big distorter but results seem to be a bigger influence for many of us year on year than I anticipated (apart from ourselves, Luton and Bury?). Although I anticipate a better season for both of us, I can see both Luton's and our away attendances falling back a bit as the novelty wears off. Will Wycombe's plummet if they're bouncing around mid-table?

Personally I expect our average will increase again this season, although obviously it depends on results to an extent. Our average last season was in spite of some truly hideous away form. We only won 6 away games all season last year. In fact, we only won away from home twice between mid-October and May (once in January, once in April). That crap form definitely impacted some of our followings (e.g. not selling out Southend at the end of the season). I expect our away form will be better this season (it can't be much worse), and with a very geographically favourable league I'd be pretty surprised if our average dropped this year.

Argyle's away attendances are actually pretty decent seeing as though apart from Exeter we have to travel hours to get anywhere.

Are we doing a new thread for 15/16, or just sticking with this one?

We'd sold just under 900 tickets for Accrington as of yesterday morning. They went on general sale today so I'd expect well over 1,000 all told.

You'll be outnumbering us at this rate!! It should be a great atmosphere though (something our club needs at the moment). Over 1000 would be great considering the distance but didn't you take a similar number to Carlisle last season (1st game)?

We took just over 1000 to Carlisle (think it was about 1050, definitely under 1100). That was the first game back in the League though, I wasn't expecting 1000+ for this one to be fair. Think we only took around 500 to you last season?

I actually think, and have for weeks, we'll take 1500. Huge optimism and buzz around the place again this season.

We're well on our way to selling out for Dagenham - which isn't until next week. No idea why they're not giving us more of the ground.

We may yet do. We have given some of the terrace to Southend before. I think we wait for confirmation that all the seats have been sold first.

Expecting at least 1000 Daggers tomorrow. After all the moaning they've made previous about playing us on boxing day and Tuesday nights well you couldn't haven't got much better than tomorrow.

You're expecting too much then. We've taken 1000 once in my life other than Wembley and that was on the last day when we could have stayed up at Peterborough (but we lost 5-0 instead).

Orient's tickets will be dependent on police advice, not that it matters though as Orient fans will just come in the home end regardless of how many they're restricted too. As long as they're not arses I really don't care. More bunce for the club.

How many did you get?

We only have 500 to start, won't be enough

Says on our OS we will be backed by 1500 fans. I guess the 500 is just the seats? I'm sure you'll get the terrace aswell. Not as if Crawley will fill it.

1,119 sold on advance for Accrington. Reckon we'll pass 1,300, weather looks good which will add a few I think!
