**Breaking News** Fans tend to come and go depending on success or lack of success. This disease appears to have spread to the all important away followings in L2 :ohm:

I know I can’t believe it either, makes no sense

Never, only Lincoln have bandwagon jumpers apparently!

Lol. Tbh they are more ‘new to football ‘ than Bandwagon jumpers in Lincoln, but I get your point :gr:

I know, it's how some other clubs fans seem to see it at Lincoln. We had very low gates around 2-2500 in the conference witnessing a club on its knees. We did have nearly 8000 for our last league game before we got relegated and had a healthy average whilst we were doing okay prior to that, but that seems to be conveniently forgotten by some.

Dick it’s taking you 208 posts to realise that?. If you have time look back and check out the level of obsession from some posters regarding disappointing or sometimes pathetic away followings of other clubs! It’s incredible. Not to mention how loud or quiet fans are, or how many someone else took to the same ground even though it’s an extra 30 Miles :dk:

Don’t really get it myself but if a nice table or chart can be produced at the end of the season then yeah great :2thumb: whatever floats ya boat

It's a shame because I seem to remember Mansfield having 4000 + in the Kop mid/early noughties and the facilities were pretty good, I think.

Edit - It was actually 2007, when a plane with a 'MTFC For Sale, Haslam Out' banner flew around Nottingham for a bit

We did in 2003 as well I recall, it’s when Christie scored that injury goal and was so offside he was halfway down the a60.

Given you can make such a racket, have basically a home game while away and never lose is a cracking combination - could be the last time in some while so make the most of it.

It’s the epitome of the phrase ‘Big Day Out’

Fun day out. Beers never lose, everyone happy.

No wonder it’s popular with Stags fans.

And the former Stags supporters, and of course the part time fans, the floaters, their mates , some family members who live in Nottingham but never usually go to the football and any forest fans buddies who want a piss up and don’t fancy a long expensive away trip that day.

Like I say the purest of definitions for a football clubs ‘Big Day Out’.

I’m a little bit jealous of the BDO

Yeah it’s a fun day out. Beers, good times, never lose.

Even magical things happen occasionally, like Kane hemmings scoring goals!

He may not even start, either him or Stead will probably miss out.

Oh magical things will definitely happen, less than 100% for the first time in a long long time

FAO Bury: What’s the total capacity for either end of your ground? We’ve been allocated approx 2400 and 1600 have already gone so far but we’ll very likely be wanting more.
