FAO Bury: What’s the total capacity for either end of your ground? We’ve been allocated approx 2400 and 1600 have already gone so far but we’ll very likely be wanting more.

Not according to your twitter you've been given 2,354. Unless you can prove otherwise? I'll be very surprised youll get full capacity based on last year's trouble.

Eh?

You’ve just said the same as me? We’ve been allocated approx 2400 (2354 as you state) and we’ve sold 1600 so far.

What’s the confusion?

Sorry I read it wrong i read it that you had 2200 and 1600 in the two stands, but yeah I hope you aren't given anymore

Far too many idiots come out for this game and 2,300 is plenty tbh. I would expect this game to be heavily policed bearing in mind last year and the home game v Lincoln.

Is that opening up the opportunity for us to infiltrate the home ends?

They can do what they want, I remember Bolton saying the same thing a few years ago and there were none unless they all sat on their hands. If people want to pay £20 and risk it then fair enough but if you're an idiot you'll either get twatted by our idiots or get thrown out. Either way we get the cash.

No it's more likely the stewards will open up the away end and do nothing to stop Bury fans infiltrating at the end of the game.

Yeah all Lincoln fans are totally innocent aren't they? Every club has their idiots it's hardly a new thing.

Of course, however the club has done a lot over the years to ban lots of the trouble makers and it's a much more friendly, family environment. It seems Bury fans have caused a few problems elsewhere too, judging by what others have said.

Well done! Are you after a blue peter badge? Plenty of other clubs have fans that cause trouble and just because you're 'squeaky clean' now doesn't mean you can act like your better than everyone else.

Erm, actually ‘if’ they have got rid of their trouble makers and others haven’t then I think they have an absolute right to act better than others.
Especially better than a club whose fans choose to have a go at families of the opposition at the end of a good game of football

That was better put than what I was trying to say. If the Neanderthals from both clubs want to find a way of slugging it out between themselves then so be it, but it was directed at lots of families with kids.

Some clubs are worse than others in dealing with a problem which effects every club to widely varying levels. Without doubt some clubs are a lot better than others

You had the 3rd highest arrests last season with 28 only Grimsby and Coventry had more.

Don't pretend you've turned good after one season. There has been incidents between Bury and Lincoln fans for years - the ones that did something at Gigg will be banned.

I think you are mistaking my loyalties.

I am a Grimsby fan and have been since 1980. I hope you were assuming I am a Peterborough fan due to the name and location. I certainly hope you were not accusing me of being an Imp!!

I am very aware that we have a number of complete knobs who support us, more than our fair share, I was mearly pointing out that if Lincoln have recognised an issue and done something about it then fair play to them.

As for blaming ‘history’ then I can only imagine (as I wasn’t there) that some of the bury trouble makers were teenagers and so have no history with Lincoln who have been non league for a number of years and you didn’t play them last year as you were a league above.

And the others were probably 30 and 40 year old who haven’t got a brain cell between them who have probably got kids and families themselves so they must have felt well hard by having a go at all these rock hard families they were faced with.

Still history is history ain’t it! You must be very proud.

It’s not a point about being proud is it. It’s just highlighting that every club has its idiot fans, even Lincoln.... Lincoln fans giving it the holier than thou attitude when their fans are just as bad.

I don't understand the debate here? Lincoln have trouble makers and banned them we have trouble makers and ban them why does that make Lincoln a better club than us?

If anyone is at fault apart from the idiots that did it its the police that apparently have the correct intelligence and force lower league clubs to pay high fees and then don't even do their job correctly.

Lincoln were the ones with the third most arrests last season which shows their fans aren't actually that innocent as one would portray.

We’ve sold out the 4200 or so to our relegation threatened friends.

A good portion of the 5400 home fans on Saturday will be going, quality day out. Might not happen for a while longer so make hay while the suns out

5400 home fans?!?!?!? Either that’s a made up figure, or I smell an offer for the locals :£
