To a point. If one game causes a 70% drop in support that’s pretty bad. We still took just under 800 for a dead rubber in Crawley knowing we’d play the reserves.

Anyway this attendance bullshit counts for very little in the scheme of things. Mansfield will probably go through after a good away draw.

Crawley comparison isn’t fair though considering the short turnover and the fact, you know it’s Newport.

I agree but all my point is whatever you perceive that following to be, we have averaged just under 1,000 for the season and that’s a fantastic effort that cannot be dismissed.

I think the average away following at Prenton Park was around 100 if you excluded Wrexham who brought 1400 odd as they were top at the time.

I laugh at how much jizz comes out of certain posters about away followings and how noisy they were. They are over sensitive when it comes to away attendances and instead of praising travelling supporters brand them as pathetic. Then take less than 300 to a play off semi final lol.
