Sunderland the massive ex prem club brought 399 to vale shit support.
They didnt travel well in the FA cup game if I recall a couple years back, expected sell out away end like Leeds or Sheff Weds did but had about 1500 max.

That game was on TV so people were bound not go due to that. This was there first away game in about 16 months and they only brought 399 for a club that got 31k for a home match on Saturday. I wasn't expecting a massive following but thought 800 to 1000 would travel.

A missing figure from Saturday...

149 Crawley fans, their highest ever turnout at Victoria Park, witnessed their club's first ever defeat to Hartlepool.

It's good to be back on here, and I hope everybody is well. I was a regular several years ago but... we've... been... busy

We have sold 1300 for Vale tomorrow. Probably be around 1500 with pay on the day available
Decent, should be a good atmosphere and hopefully around 7-8000 overall.

Like a lot of other clubs, our support at Barrow will be limited by capacity. We only got 650 tickets and they all went. There will be Pools fans in the home sections but our official capacity will be around the 650 mark.

Fair enough mate, no idea which one is right! TRFC Radio tweeted 1524. Either way, a decent turnout

Yep definitely impressive either way. As I say I can’t see anyone else bringing more this season.

Well, by this morning we'd sold 1369 (according to official channels), and there was pay on the day, so make your own mind up. I don't care either way

The vale sentinel page which is the local paper has done an article which says vale apologise for lengthy queues to get in the ground. On the article it does say 1324 tranmere fans attended. It's a decent following I doubt we would have brought anywhere near that amount to you. I havent looked when the return fixture is but if its a Saturday then maybe we would bring 800 to 1000 but depends where we are in the table.

Didn’t we take that many to Tranmere last time we played them away with fans?

If we are doing well we will take anywhere above 1200.

We had 1200 at Northampton last week (albeit the first away game in a while) which is a longer journey and a lot less attractive game.
