752 Chickens in East London. Assume that still includes the fatties that got slung out for fighting with the rozzers.

Your player caused that with his bizarre celebration, suggest if he has a brain someone tells him not to do a lighter celebration in front of fans who lost loved ones on a stadium fire. I hope it’s looked into more as if a fan mocks a player as one of our scumbags did when they abused Billy Sharp over his baby they are banned, a player should face a similar punishment if found guilty.

293 GAS at Barrow.

A tad disappointed at our crowd today, although it was expected, Barra rugby playing at the same time, bank holiday race meeting at Cartmel, some local festival on. Away attendances are a far cry better in this league though, 300 is the most a decent sized Northern team in the NL would bring.

5th Home game in 18 days won't have helped either

420 Valiants at FGR
There was miles more than that 600 to 700 I'd say. Also if you got that figure from the sentinel site then the overall crowd could be wrong as they put 2507 but on bbc site it says 2402.

Decent from us. Definitely more than 420 there. Think we might have a good average this season for some reason.

Is this the norm at your place.
The sentance below is taken from our OS, Importent Fan information for Saturday.

"Fans will also be searched by stewards upon entry into the ground."

I know bags can be searched and flags unfurled.
Just wait until you go to Stevenage and see the wanker stewards there making the female away supporters get their tits out for them.

Prenton Park up next for us. For whatever reason, matches between Pools and Tranmere tend to be quite poorly attended by away fans from both clubs. We've been given an initial 600 tickets and, while I'd like to think we'd sell them given the good vibe around the club at the moment, it wouldn't be a big surprise if we didn't.

The last time we played was the end of season in NL. Rovers were in the play-offs, but Pools brought a decent number, some in fancy dress. Would expect good turnout given your start to the season, but unless we’ve made some additions to the squad think Rovers numbers may be down.

Seems to be a thing with tinpot teams. I remember the following happening at Scarbados years ago:
1. Female Rochdale fan approaches turnstile
2. Hi viz male muppet steward asks to search her
3. Dale lady refuses, but says she is quite happy to be searched by female steward or police officer of either sex
3. Steward insists he is to do search
4. Copper (attracted by the fuss) ambles over, sums up situation and tells steward to let fan into ground.
5. Steward refuses.
6. Steward arrested.
7. A dull, drawn game of football takes place, the highlight of which is referee William Burns booking Rochdale defender Willie Burns (who allegedly just avoided a second yellow for sarcasm by insisting on spelling his name out).

The last away game of the season is a little different from the norm for us. It's been an organised themed fancy dress day for over a decade now with 100s of fans dressed up as penguins (at Crawley), smurfs (Charlton), stormtroopers, thunderbirds (both Plymouth), etc. The attendance is always much larger than what we would usually take as a lot of the younger fans want to be part of the fancy dress as much as they want to support the team, especially as there is often nothing to play for. Tranmere was clowns and there were 738 Poolies there, which is probably 500+ higher than we'd have brought mid season. It's the same with the reverse fixture. Tranmere fans have rarely been drawn to the many delights of an away day in Hartlepool. We usually see around 150-200.

We will bring more than that this season. Our away support has grown significantly since our last Saturday visit to Hartlepool (2014 I think?), which came when the club was at a low ebb and on its way out of the league.

Yeah, there were signs of that in our one NL meeting. There were 291 Tranmere fans, easily the largest following since the 2005 playoff semi, and that was a Tuesday

Yes, I have not seen an official figure but there were about 7-800 of us at Scunthorpe on Saturday, whereas we would not have taken more than 300 in the past.

Don't have an official figure for Mansfield, but i'd say about 400 at Swindon
