It’s bizarre really. After the first day the Vale ticket office said 500 remaining then at the end of the next day they said a handful were remaining. In some respects given there was no trains and them only being on sale for 2 and half days it’s a decent number in itself but very strange, should note I’m more looking towards our ticket office on that.
We sent 100 back so that suggests around 3-400 didn't bother going who had tickets which is very strange, sure some let Dicko on the fun buses down as well which is poor as he puts loads of effort into sorting those out and had no time to take payment up front.

Sounds like it wasn't a great experience on that bank so not too fussed i missed it! Looked horrific not helped by the weather but again poses the question if they are allowed to sell that to capacity with 8 portaloo's and crumbling cement what is the issue with Vale Park's safety certificate?

Very very strange figure announced for us after 1,700 sold on the first day alone. They seemed to just stall after that though with 100 eventually returned out of the 2,200 allocation. Certainly looked more than 1,600 on TV. Who knows though.

Local games verses Newport & Bristol R have obvious largest away support at TNL.
Surprising that last home game of season Harrogate bring lowest away support to [then] championship leaders and go and win game !
Not that is matters but how did you squeeze in 22 more Newport and Rovers fans than Swindon? Surely we sold out. Seem to remember our fans struggling to actually get in the stand!

I think we averaged about 800 during the season before the Play-Offs with a few 'sell outs' along the way.
2,500 at Notts County, that was all we got (only gave us 2,000 for the Play-Off game), 1,800 at Chesterfield, again all we were allocated.

Next season looks like we'll have a few more games closer to Cleethorpes, so if we start off well we should improve on that. Stockport had a good following too, so Division 4 should see some decent gates for 2022-23.

FGR, Exeter, Port Vale, Oldham and Scunthorpe replaced by Donny, AFC, Crewe, Grimsby and Stockport, a net increase in away support across the Fourth Division for next season?

you missed 2 teams - which ballances it out a bit - but still looks like an increase

That 800+ was at some point between the County and Chesterfield away matches I think. Someone on The Fishy did the maths and we averaged 902.

Be good to have Grimsby back, local ish trip! certainly one of very few who sold out our away end completely, think this was the Podge/Toto to Pools season?
Happy to come back, so long as you never beat us 8-1 again! Great pic that though, not seen that before. And yeah it was that season, think that was the only season we were in the division at the same time? We were up towards the playoffs around that point, was probably one the last matches we had a bit of hope. It went downhill very quickly soon after this.

Decent from us also, i think our closest game this season will be doncaster, which is remarkable given the clubs around us, would have been different in league 1 but heyho.

last season we wouldn’t have took many down to exeter or fg (the latter as was a rearranged tuesday night game) port vale was a thousand or so but again a tuesday night, and we took about 600 down to bristol.

I’d be expecting 2/2,500 at donny though i suspect the plod will change the KO, and usually travel well to grimsby and stockport - so hopefully we increase too.

Both games will either be 12:30 or mid week because of the plod

Full expecting ours will be 12:30 with Donny for sure, had absolutely zero impact on our following last time though and I'd imagine we'll take a massive on there again.

On thing I'm hoping is that they'll have ditched the ridiculous 12:30 Mansfield kickoffs though.

we had one season where all games against notts, you, lincoln and chesterfield were all 1pm KOs.

Obviously with lincoln in league 1 and chesterfield and county mixing it with likes of dorking and altrincham in the bananarama it’s not so much of a problem.

We took 3500 to Donny last season in the FA Cup, I know it’s not going to be a tenner a game but I don’t see why we not hit that again.

Grimsby better be careful, one more relegation and they'll be mentioned in the same breath as yo-yo clubs like Barnet!

Sorry lads, you're going to have to put up with our away end for another season yet.

Not yet been but heard not so great things. Is there any plans to improve things or make it bigger for larger away followings?

There are but global supply chain issues mean we won't get the work complete before the season kicks off earlier this summer (apparently), has to be next summer instead. Supposedly the EFL have accepted it.
