Clubs will have masses of data from previous away trips, would be pretty easy to drill down a bit

The tickets sent to away clubs are exactly the same (ie Adult tickets).

if the away club sells a concession they tear a bit off the ticket.

when they pay the home club they pay them adult prices less the number of counterfoils they have ripped off.

They capped us at 2000 in the league too and then gave us another 500. Weirdly they did the same to Chesterfield later in the season but gave them another 1000. I'm sure they were trying to pull some schtick about clubs not being able to send back unsold tickets from additional allocations or something. Made beating them twice with injury time winners all the more satisfying in the end though, even if I was watching from a pub in Shoreditch for the playoff match.

Yeah another frustrating one for you, apologies about that. I'd genuinely have a full away end of away fans if it was down to me and if it meant it was reciprocated universally. If it's any consolation, unlike your match at Harrogate, the home ends will be full for this one. As alluded to above, you can thank the likes of Notts and Halifax for this. Had these trailblazers not had the inclination to do this to us last season we'd probably still be giving the full Osmond End to you.
Based upon Jason Stockwoods interview a few weeks back I don’t think this is the case SoC. He said we want as many home fans as possible at home games and I think this is a permanent change.

It’s disappointing we have so many no shows from our 5.8k STHs in other parts of Blundell Park but the Osmond Stand home area has been more or less sold out for all but 2 home games so far. It will certainly be for Bradford.

Our fixture set to surpass your opening day attendance, then?

Absolutely no chance of City fans in your home end like last time?

In other news, Stockport are struggling to sell their allocation. Most of the blocks currently unavailable have not yet been put on sale.

Easily I’d expect. Our first home game was the lowest for STH no shows at about 500. With a sell out and similar level of STH no shows I’d expect about 7,900 declared attendance.

Grimsby sold out which makes it four sell outs on the bounce.

Yep!

Barrow - 620 - SOLD OUT
Colchester - 467 (Tues)
Hartlepool - 704 - SOLD OUT
Mansfield - 1,750 - SOLD OUT
Tranmere - 985 (Tues)
Harrogate - 600 - SOLD OUT
Salford - 1,337 - SOLD OUT
Grimsby - 1,237 SOLD OUT

Sold out every Saturday trip thus far, but anyone would expect us to given the shoddy allocations.

You (I) can say that again.

But would this have even been on their radar had other clubs not started doing it? I'm not convinced personally.

We were at Orient on the opening day. Our first home match though, think there were 6700/6800 in the home ends? Then for the Forest match it was probably more like 7200ish. I'd expect it to be somewhere between those two and with your sell out that'll take us to over 8000. The club aren't really clear about what the current total capacity is but I'd expect it's not far off the 8418 total gate we had for the Forest match. It's certainly not the 9052 that's on Wiki and all the away fan grounds.

Any Bradford fans on here want a ticket, let me know you can use my account.

53 the official Harrogate figure... they must have counted them twice.

Just over 800 tickets sold for tonight's game at Tranmere. Not too bad considering we've only won 1 in 8 and play some pretty dour football, and the fact it's yet another night game at Tranmere. Don't think I've ever seen the place in the day light and I've been 6 or 7 times.

Bradford trying to take over the home stands!

Fewer than 100 home tickets left online with a week to go, although Osmond Blocks A and B are only being sold to callers at Blundell Park, I expect they are near gone as well. So with a week to go it's more or less nailed on to be our first unrestricted League sell-out for both home and away fans for years. Stockport was last season was nominally sold out, but 400 seats in the away end were deliberately left empty. I still expect STH no shows will drag the declared attendance down to about 8k but that will be a league best for about 15 years.

We sold out Harrogate away next Saturday within ten minutes of the tickets going on general sale.

Surprised it even reached general sale.

Very few of our away supporters record their points, as the app no longer works. Plus, Harrogate is ninety miles from here, so not particularly local.
