Mid table for us, about where I'd expect us to place, 4,676 after a three manager, 5 home win season is pretty good going.

13th is rubbish for us to be fair, but I think if pre/post Galinson was taken into effect it'd be interesting (for me at least). Might do the maths on that later, but wouldn't be surprised to see something like a 3.5k average for the first half, and a 7k average for the second half of the season. Hopefully more towards the latter for the majority of next season, although can't see too many clubs in the league next season who'll bring that many down to Kent to boost it much higher than that. We'll have a slightly reduced capacity of around 9000 for next season as well.

Edit: Just done the maths - 4,431 average pre-Galinson, 6,573 during Brad's tenure. Quite the jump, literally overnight.

If it's any consolation you lot have been the best home fans in terms of noise and atmosphere that I've seen in the flesh this season.

All they have to give them is 10% isn't it? Crap after they've given more than that to anyone what needed it throughout the season but that's the way things are now. They'll fill the home ends because loads of United fans will go. Joke club, hope Stockport smash them.
They were selling tickets on open sale yesterday from their ticket office (less than ten miles away from our ground), and online yesterday. Tbf they took the precaution of restricting all SK postcodes, and who ever heard of somebody having family/friends in a neighbouring postcode?

Anyway I can't confirm or deny if I'm in the home end, but I can confirm I know about as much of their history as anyone else there will do.

Proper away tickets go on sale tomorrow morning, people already planning to camp in the car park overnight.

Anything better than what was served up this year average would be well into 5k plus. 6 if we were challenging. I agree respectable bearing in mind the shite season we had.

Here is my final willy waving table of away numbers. I am not saying it is 100% accurate as it has a number of estimates, but it gives a good indication of who travels in good numbers.

You remember Boring Wood the previous season...?
Did that bring their average into 3 figures, or was it from single figures to double figures?

Actually, that table shows the Northern Powerhouse off really well. Envisage a super-connected rail network (or in the case of GY and Clee any trains at all) like the south east what our numbers would be…

However everyone knows clubs take higher numbers on afternoon games as against evening games as well as games which are close to the away side ( i.e. derby matches).

I also thought that a mean average is not the correct way to do these but a better way is the median average. This reduces the effect of sell outs at derby games with small away capacities.

So I have done a proper willy waving table based on median average, distance travelled and if afternoon or night game.

So based on a travel distance of 150 miles on an afternoon or a night game distance of 100 miles here is the list.

Stockport's main industry according to Google is Business Administration and Support Services. Minus 1000 Northern points.

Geography O Level not required.

Actually, Mansfield manipulated third place by getting our Saturday game there postponed and deliberately rearranging for 3 days after the FA Cup QFs

Sorry but I have lodged an appeal with the ASFA (away support football association) on the basis that Doncaster were tight bastards with our allocation and should the appeal be successful an extra 1000 will be added to our numbers taking our average up by around 40 meaning you will have to settle for the play offs again.

Sorry.

Nope we weren’t tight, it was either a SYPT decision or your club didn’t ask for extra and given it was yourselves SYPT wouldn’t allow sales on the day

I found out what happened here, we only asked for 3000 initially but when we sold them out with over a week to go we asked for more and SYP advised against it. Whoever made the decision to ask for the full Bradford allocation and not the full Donny one at our end got it wrong.

Got a Labour MP, mate.

Whereas yours....

Damn, was hoping that wouldn’t be spotted.
It’s only temporary - one term only (but don’t check the local election results) as I’m sure it is for Scunthorpe and Hartlepool. Missing their fans already to bolster the east coast alliance (just the latter of course).

Sorry.

When we averaged a thousand in our season under Flitcroft, a Tranmere fan on here claimed it does not count because we took 5,000 to MK Dons on the last day

Anyway our allocation for Grimsby was well over a 1,000 short for demand so I’ll put a claim in for that :D

That means nothing in this day and age. It's actually more northern to have been turned by the Tory propaganda Facebook Cambridge Analytica campaign and Theresa May dancing GIFs than it is to back Kier Starmer.

 Was an official home sell out though so you're claim will be rejected I suspect.

Carlisle have allocated us 1,886 for our second leg next Saturday.

I’m not having a go, because I know they only have to allocate 10%, but last I heard they’d shifted around 7,000 tickets in the home end.

Just give us to the terrace anorl - you know we’re good for it.

I'm not sure it would be a good idea to mix Carlisle and Bradford fans in the Waterworks.

Obviously not, but when you’re struggling to sell the best part of 8,000 tickets in the home end, why not?

I wouldn't read too much into our current sales figure. We pretty much always maintain a steady flow of sales right up to kickoff. We've also got recent history of selling 2/3k tickets on the day of the match.

A decent result tomorrow night and I'm sure we'll shift 13/14k minimum.
