Just 600 allocated to us by Stockport for opening day. I'd be surprised if they didn't sell out pretty quickly, I'd expect a bigger allocation would be available if so?
At a guess it'll be two blocks in the Pop Side, which is 900 total.

The club really liked having home fans in the Railway End so I'm guessing we'll be doing that a lot more this season.

Don't you have to go past the home fans at the Cheadle end, past the home fans in the stand on the side to get into the corner?

I highly doubt Wrexham would be in the corner, and police advice might keep us behind the goal. It'd be pretty tasty after the last couple of years or so.

We sold 1,450 at Stockport last season.

No that was years ago, now there's an entrance to that section near the corner.

And yes, I know others have received more than 900 last season; if demand is sufficient then you get allocated either the whole Railway End (~1,200) or the RE plus a block in the PS (~1,700). I don't think anyone's going to get more than that with our current crowds.

Morecambe have given us just short of 1000 tickets, 600 standing and the rest seated.

£20 standing, £25 seated.

Expect us to sell that out. Bring it on, can’t wait to get back to it!

Official away capacity at plough lane is 1465. However due to segregation purposes it's set at 1200. A bit of a shame but that's the way it is.

Ticket buying experience was incredibly stressful, kept getting booted out.

Despite this I've got a ticket for Wimbledon away. Phew.

Absolutely bonkers for Wimbledon away...

This isn't the full allocation, though as 70% of away allocations will go to season ticket holders, and the rest will go to members (so they can justify the £30 a year membership which is awful).

I'd imagine AFCW being a sell out as its the first away game in the league for 15 years..

Wimbledon seem to attract very good away followings. Last season was really annoying for exiled fans though as you end up paying for postage for your ticket and you receive a QR code on a piece of A4 paper printed out that tells you to bring your ticket on your phone.

As a member of our £25 scheme and not a ST holder, I'm a big fan of your 70/30 split system. Ours is 100% to ST holders right off the bat.

Could be worse, ours is 100% collection from Wrexham so a few exiles have been put off.

Sounds an excellent away day though, albeit expensive.

Only collection?! Just for this match or all the time? That's ridiculous.

It's an excellent away day in that it's a London away day yeah. Not a massive fan of South West London myself though and Wimbledon isn't the most well connected, there are definitely better London away days. Ground is decent, a few nice quirks to it. However, their away end wasn't staffed/set up well enough to deal with a sizeable following, I missed kickoff despite getting there in plenty of time due to problems with their scanners on the way in and it took me the whole of half time to get a pint. Minor grievances but still frustrating nevertheless.

Having said that, we lost a shit 12.30 kickoff match 1-0 in December there so I'd imagine an opening day win back in the league in the August sunshine will put a nice gloss on it for you guys.

I would disagree about Wimbledon not being well connected. There are 5 or 6 stations whether that be underground or railway stations all within a 10 to 25 minute walk of Plough lane.

That's ridiculous. I see no reason as to why you couldn't pick up your ticket from the ticket office at Wimbledon on the day of the game.

Yeah fair enough, I'm probably just being biased as I've been at East London guy for too long. Just seems to take ages every time I go out that way.

Yep, people did this last season for our match but had to be arranged by our SLO.

Just seen that now, good going.

I do wonder though is it because a new manager, new team, new ground for a lot of your fans, Hollywood, Wrexham, first away game?

I think that there'd be a fair few clubs who will have fans jumping on the away bandwagon to come to us just because of Hollywood...

Who dictates this? As i've seen for our home game vs MK, they won't be able to collect their tickets from the Racecourse. Is it some league ruling or something?

Luckily I have got a week off work before AFCW game and a comfy 10 minute walk to the ground to collect mine and family tickets.

It's always interesting going to see a game at one of the newly promoted tinpotters, especially as there will be a fair few clubs who haven't visited you in particular for 20 odd years.

Nothing to do with the league. All last season, every stags game home or away allowed away fans to pick up pre paid tickets from the stadium on the day of the game. Unless like Barrow where you had to buy e-tickets direct from Barrow and hence had the ticket on your phone and not a paper ticket.

hahaha. I prefer 'sleeping giant' rather than tinpotter. I reserve such names for your Eastleighs, Boreham Woods and Chesterfields of the world :)

Just a bit sad when fans who are not local to the club they support cannot collect from the team they are going to.

I reckon it put a few of our London Reds off from the AFCW game. Long way to commute to collect a ticket fgs.

Perhaps it is to stop non local Wrexham fans buying tickets and maximise bus tickets at £36 a pop.

Don't kid yourselves, that romanticism is only 10% if it. Away allocations will sell well at Wrexham because people will be hoping to catch a glimpse of our celebrity following.

Well, joke's on you. All you're getting is Thogden and cal the fucking dragon.

Sold out the initial 970 tickets for Morecambe, next batch due the next few days and I expect us to sell them out too.

Wrexham tickets went on sale this morning. I called to get two, the lady in the ticket office said they’re selling much faster than expected. I’d expect us to sell them out aswell.

Plenty of sleeping never a giant
Not sure how many teams you'd play against that was in the european cup playing the likes of Roma, Porto, Real Zaragaza that isn't a sleeping giant.

Without boasting, we have the whole north of the country to tap into without any other club local to them for miles, that wants to come to Wrexham now,

That is massive, despite the north of that particular country having less of a population than Bradford.

We once played in the Anglo Italian cup against prestigious opposition like Barnsley and Middlesbrough so do we count too?
