That is massive, despite the north of that particular country having less of a population than Bradford.
Its about the same i'd have thought, but now we have the whole of the US, beat that! :P

Yes, I do realise this is like saying my dad is harder than your dad etc but its all fun :)

We've played in Europe too!

Andrey Arshavin made his professional debut against us for Zenit - there's a pub quiz fact for you.

We once played in the Anglo Italian cup against prestigious opposition like Barnsley and Middlesbrough so do we count too?
If you want to. Not quite as prestigious as the European cup winners cup but whatever :)

Just seen Swindon join us in charging away fans £27 for an adult this season, anyone charging more than this? Something needs to be done, it's not as if ourselves or Swindon have amazing facilities for away fans to justify paying £27 both away ends are dumps.

Fair enough. We’ve had years of Carver, Masi and Devon Lad on this forum it’s hard to know what’s serious and what ain’t anymore.

Pipe down, Wrexham. Come back when you're got your own North Korean fan club.

Unless you find yourself talking to a new Wrexham fan (post documentary) you'll find none of us have any misconceptions about our club.

We're bigger than Chester and that's all that matters.

You could also chuck the other tinpot team down the other end of the A5 into the pot. I absolutely hate them turnip munchers with a passion! :D

Got to be thinking Wrexham are going to doing something big this week but they’re leaving their business late. I guess got some time whilst season in progress but can’t believe they won’t want a few names in ahead of start date.

It’s £27 at Sutton. For the seats if you buy at the ticket office on the day of the game. If you buy before match day, or if you purchase online (even on match day)it’s £25 to sit.

We do of course offer standing scat Sutton, which is £21 if bought prior to match day or online (the same £2 extra charge for in person match day purchases applies)

Obviously these are adult only prices

Not sure how many teams you'd play against that was in the european cup playing the likes of Roma, Porto, Real Zaragaza that isn't a sleeping giant.

Without boasting, we have the whole north of the country to tap into without any other club local to them for miles, that wants to come to Wrexham now,
Only in those European comps as the best team in Wales at the time. As I said, never a giant.

Away allocations will sell well at Wrexham because people will be hoping to catch a glimpse of our celebrity following.
Genuinely can't see that being a factor. I reckon the teams that usually travel well to you will continue to do so and those that don't won't. MK Dons have done well but that's gotta be more to do with opening day and not having been to you for ages than it is Rob and Ryan.

Oh did Bradford win the Welsh Cup as well?

1980 initial allocation for Notts away on the 12th. Should shift them no bother, hopefully we'll get more.

Just seen that now, good going.

I do wonder though is it because a new manager, new team, new ground for a lot of your fans, Hollywood, Wrexham, first away game?

I think that there'd be a fair few clubs who will have fans jumping on the away bandwagon to come to us just because of Hollywood...
Wait till it’s away to Barra....that Hollywood tag is stuck in the mud......it’s more porn hub.....pure filth.....nothing glitzy about playing here.....and we love it.

Ours looks to be £22 which is probably going to end up around the average, albeit a couple of quid too high for my liking. I doubt too many will need the open stand as well as the corner bit, but if memory serves we only tend to charge £15 for the Brian Moore Stand these days if it needs opening up.

Think we'd sell out or be close to, just so fans who cant get tickets for the home end will go away. You are not wrong, Barrow is a proper come down to earth hell hole, and certainly not one for the holiday destinations.

Top of the averages until early October then! ;)
Bit longer than that I reckon. We've got a horrible start on paper in the actual league but the away average league is ours to lose if we pick up some early season wins. Notts, Bradford, Donny, Stockport and Wrexham before the end of October. Walsall on Bank Holiday too has fallen kindly as it's one that we wouldn't ordinarily take a huge amount to but will be boosted by people missing out on Notts, Wrexham and potentially Bradford around that time. Could end up being my only away of those first four.

Hmm, taking a closer look at our early awaydays, we’ve got:

Crawley: 1,400 ish
Stockport: 1,450
Morecambe: 2,300ish
Mansfield: 1,750

Should be averaging 1,700+ ourselves by Sept.

I think this season we’ll manage promotion and if that’s the case, we’ll sell-out most away ends.

Yeah fair enough in that case. Should be a close start in that case. Had no idea Morecambe was that many, that's not one we travel that well to. Bit of a ballache for us that one. I did it up and down in a day from London. Never again, will stay up North if I go this season.
