Just managed to get a Notts County away ticket, really surprised they made general sale but absolutely buzzing that they did.
Only £20 return on the train too and just £10 for my lad so I don’t have to fuck about driving either.
Can’t fucking wait.

Stockport sold out!

Confirmed we’re in the little side bit and County have behind the goal because they’re massive. Fully expect them to sell that out, if they don’t, I want our club to give them 2 blocks in Midland Road stand in return.

I agree, these smaller allocations are another reason to get out of this league.

Sadly aren't we limited by league rules that we have to offer at least 10% if ground capacity?

As a rule, yes. But if you have a case for a logistical, policing nightmare as it’s spread over two stands, then I suppose we can play that card if we want to.

Genuinely hope we do. Some clubs just take the piss these days.

To be fair I don't think we're taking the piss if there is a demand from home fans. Taking the piss is giving the minimum and then having empty seats galore like what happened with us at Carlisle.

Issue with the Railway End is that it will be quite transcient support, no one cares about sitting in an open air stand when its dry and the weather is okay but how many will bother on a Tuesday night on a cold night in Autumn. So far it's been sold out including some games with a deluge of rain - albeit with something to play for at the back end of a season.

The Gillingham sales for the Railway End look pretty pathetic right now tbf, hopefully if its clear there isn't a demand for the RE for your game we consider giving you it.

The same amount that bothered last season on a Tuesday night in wet conditions (1,450).

Give us the full allocation and make us buy em all regardless of what we sell. Win-win for yous.

I was referring to home fans buying in the RE not away fans as it seems our intention is to use it for home fans as the club think the demand is there. If you want to support your team away you don't really get the choice of what stand you're in. When its casual home fans it's probably a different calculation.

My gripe isn’t about where you put us, it’s the amount you’re allocating.

You’re just feeling the brunt of it because it’s becoming the norm in this league.

Until we stick a roof on the Railway end, it's pointless putting our fans in there. The fans who have Season tickets or are on the ball getting tickets will choose the other three stands so by nature it is the more JCL lately fans who are ever in there. They will not want to sit in there on a cold wet November (or even Saturday's wet miserable August as is forecasted).

We’ve sold about 700 of the 900 or so allocated, not too bad in my opinion. And for comparison’s sake you bought 500 to us towards the end of last season when you were still in with a chance of autos.

Again, I meant the home sales for the railway end not away fans.

Mansfield pretty much sold out at our place on Saturday. I'm guessing it's taken them too long to sell what they had for us to give them the railway end. Pretty sure we've sold tickets in that end now.

It's less win-win than if they sell them to home fans though. It's annoying for away fans but why would a club give tickets to away fans when they can sell them to home fans? I'm fully with you if they opt to sell them to home fans and there are empty seats but if they fill them then it's alright.

That’s my point. I guess I’m not making myself very clear here, but judging by the Stockport consensus, their fans don’t believe they’ll sell enough tickets in that end to justify offering us less.

Sure, at some points during the season they’ll have plenty of demand, but not for a Tues night game with a shocking weather forecast to boot.

Seems like sides giving less away, surprising about stockport, grimsby offering less also, maybe this is something to be looked into.

Sadly we’re stuck in what we can offer to home and away fans with our 3 stands.

From a bradford perspective, when stockport come calling it’s hardly like out of spite you’re going to limit them to 1200 or so if they can bring 2000 and you lose out on shitloads though, is it?

Of course our club wouldn’t be see stupid. We’re a business not a charity we can’t throw money away because a few people are posted off. Personally I don’t get it, the day we start selling out Gillinghams and Newports of this world then we can act hard done by, but it’s usually clubs a minute away.
