Sold out for Crawley in a couple of weeks, around 1150 or so I think - surely there will be an extra allocation?
We've been given an extra 200 terracing tickets, which does beg the question of why we didn't just get them to start with!

Expected surely I’m not going have zero interest in the game, on the other hand I’m pretty sure Grimsby away in the league is sold out.

It is.

It’s a shame the away capacity is so low as they’ve given some of the stand to the right of us to home fans.

It didn’t make sense last season as there were loads of spaces in the home ends, but whatever it’s their club.

Yeah but most of those spaces were fans who hadn’t turned up but the seats were already sold, most home games last season there were barely any tickets left unsold but we had loads of no shows last few months of the season with sod all to play for.

Yeah as Fish says it's ST holders not turning up. The club has a 'Release your seat' scheme but it's not being used as well as you'd want it to be. It's a problem but what can we do if a sizeable chunk of ST holders only go to half the games and aren't releasing their seats?

Stockport have now given us an additional 385 tickets behind the goal for Tuesday night in addition to the sold out initial allocation of 958.

Home sales mustn't be too high for that end.

Struggling to get my head round this.

Presumably, the 958 sold in the covered area will now be moved to the uncovered railway end?

Or are we still keeping the covered end? In which case, surely more than 385 additional seats will be available in the Railway?

Allocation: 1,343 - still less than they gave us last season.

Sounds like keeping the covered and the extra will just be the block nearest.

Assume there'll be segregation net down the RE somewhere.

Seems like a lot of faff from Stockport.

But that end isn’t the Railway, it’s called the Popular Side Stand.

The Railway holds 1,366, so it looks like we’re all being shifted into Railway. Presumably the two blocks in side stand are now available for home supporters.

If County can’t sell them, just give us them anorl. 2,400 ish - proper allocation - how it should be.

Yeah, I think we'll be in the Pop and the end of the RE. So either side of the corner.

Agreed, it's just a bit messy. They'd be better off just giving the RE for away and keeping the side for home fans if they want to increase their home support.

So the Railway will be split between home and away fans? Sounds unlikely, which means, if there’s 800-900 empty seats in the Railway, why not allocate them to us.

I still think City won’t be in Popular Side stand. They’ll be a lot of unhappy City fans when they see the weather forecast.

Said it before, totally agree with the Bradford fans here. I don't know the ins and outs because it doesn't effect me in the Cheadle End but seems like we're making things complicated. Because we sold Railway End to home fans at the back end of last season when we were going for promotion and the weather was alright we sold it out, the club seem to think we can do it again. I said weeks ago we can't. The casual fan which is what the Railway End would be as it is the last tickets to go do not want to sit in there getting piss wet through during early season/middle of the season games. There was barely anyone in it vs Gillingham.

We should have just stuck a roof on it. I think EFL rules means we have to offer under cover area, hence why we have to offer a bit of the Pop side.

So they've then offered you a bit of the Railway End? Well that just makes no sense. That will never be able to segregated properly if it's half and half.

We've made a pigs ear of this no doubt about it, if we can't be arsed sticking a roof on it we'll just have to go back to offering the Railway End and a block of the Pop Side.

If the demand is there towards the back of the season and the away team we play are bringing fuck all, by all means just stick them in the Pop and open up the Railway to home fans.

They won't split the RE in two. It'll be the whole RE and a block in the PS

We've already sold them two blocks in the Pop, clearly thinking we were taking the RE for home fans. They may end up getting more than last year now. We could have used the other pop block for home fans.

It's a mess tbh. Stick a roof on the Railway End, decide which is the away section and stick to it.

Why not just put a roof on the away end, behind the goal simplifies everything. Hardly going to cost much.

Fully agree it's a mess.

Perhaps they won't segregate the RE, which would be an even bigger farce if that ends up being the case.
