Wow was not expecting such defensive response to that hahaha!
Notts fans are the most defensive on the planet.

Criticising their high line last season often earned you a short novel in response.

No exaggeration there, it's true.......on the planet.

Chief leave our ridiculously high line alone, it's the main reason we score lots of goals and play such sexy football on the deck.

Grimsby (H) - that’s how it’s done.

Game selected for SKY - KO at 12:30pm might put a few Mariners off.

Yeah this was one I was planning on going to but the early KO is the sticking point with me as I’m working Friday night so it’s if I fancy the drive with not much sleep.
50/50 at the minute which means I will probably talk myself into going a couple of days before the game.

It was scheduled to KO at 13:00pm before SKY got involved - not much has changed.

Reckon we'll get similar? It's a direct train from Chester so feeling like it'll be a popular one for our fans.

I don’t see why not. Sure we can extend to 3,100 ish if demand outweighs supply, but I have a feeling, this too, will be on SKY.

I had no idea about that I thought they had left it alone this year.
Already I’m swaying 60/40 and thinking ‘fuck sleep’ too.

Hoping not but if it has to move I'd hope for the early kick off.

A Friday night would be a shame.

Kamil Conteh and Otis Khan will be away on international duty, cannot wait for the meltdown from you lot when Abo Eisa gets a Sudan call for the first time and we wangle our way out of this.

Fair play for not picking either of the media darlings, but Christ on a bike that sounds a terrible game to show
Best home vs best away fans pal. I personally wouldn't class Bradford vs us as an odd/terrible choice in this division. Seems a fairly obvious one to me actually.

Mansfield allocated us 1,737 tickets - that’s how to do it.

I think they will sell out too, because it's Bradford no matter how poor the form this season.

Plus you will get the rare and very recent added bonus of 2 very populated home stands to boot.

Complete sell out potentially Conker?

Got 750 tickets on Monday for Vale in the cup next week, they sold out, there sending another 750, probably get pretty close to selling them aswell I'd guess, so should be around 1500 travelling which ain't too bad for a midweek league Cup game for us.

I'm talking about the footballing fare on offer.

Bradford are rubbish with Hughesasaurus in charge, and your lads don't get out of bed until they hear the sound of FA Cup balls being poured into a bowl.

Fair comment, although I highly doubt Sky are doing much analysis regarding who is knocking the ball around the best when they pick these matches. I'd imagine that it already being an early kickoff might have been a factor. In defence of the fixture, the matches last season were about as good a 0-0 as you'll see at our place and then a 3-2 at theirs with them coming back from 2-1 down.

Can sort of see why Bradford v Grimsby is on tele, 2 playoff chasing ambition teams quite early doors, and a fairly big crowd to boot.

Without looking at other divisions/fixtures, isn't it about time they put a league 2 game on the box?

Can't wait to see everyone's massive shock when they announce Salford v Wrexham on tv on Oct 14, though.

Fairly big crowd?. There will be pushing 20000 for this one, despite being on telly, a crowd Hollywood Wales FC could only dream of

They only average poor crowds cos their stadiums tiny - didn’t you know?

When they build their super dooper Kop stand, they’ll still have thousands on the waiting list. Obviously.

I've already gathered that it's just a thing on the League 2 pages-Bradford fans willy wave over their attendance figures. I respect it, honestly.

We do all wish we were Bradford with their tuppence hapenny season tickets.

Aye, of course you’d sell 15,000-18,500 season tickets at £200-£420 a pop. Absolutely.
