Who’s looked at their fixtures at the business end of the season. I know it’s almost impossible now to know who’s likely to be in and around the playoffs, but any tasty likely 6-pointers?

Last time we played em we had 4200 or so. Unless they’ve actually got restrictions in place now as to what they can put in there by SAG or whoever then I can see them giving it us. The police will push for it, especially now with it being on the tele. Loads will just go down for a day on the piss and watch it on the tele if they don’t get tickets because we’ve been given 2800 or whatever it is.

Guess we’ll find out in a couple of weeks, we usually put away tickets on sale 3 weeks before the game.

I thought it was established that stand had a capacity of 2,900 or so as the concourse is a health and safety issue, there’s no changes they’d give the full allocation in that stand.

Maybe one of your main coppers is just getting a little excited a little early, nowt new.

You barely bring over 2,000 anyway* so 2,900 is more than enough and let's be honest very very generous at this level.

* I know, you know that's not true Adam but you are just making shit up so I thought I'd join in.

Hey, it’s you that constantly can’t fill a stand that doesn’t even hold 2,000 buddy :ffs:

What does it hold now? I know it's been shrinking 1700?

Of course you've seen the Kop 1/4 full when you've visited Meadow Lane, of course you have Adam :dk:

Maybe try watching a few game highlights from this season, or last at the San Sirrel.

Yeah 1700, you were 550 or so short last time round, maybe with all the new fans they might actually manage it this time. here’s hoping

That was the season we got relegated and had a disastrous chairman.

Last time that applied to you in this fixture there were 4002 fans in attendance, not home fans, total gate! Ouch! For a local derby :fl:

Safe to say your (only) Big stand was 1/4 full that day, at best

But that what happens when you heading for the non league#stain

Enjoy. Obviously it’s the second goal but vid is only 30 seconds anyway.

Christ. 28 years ago.

The commentary mentions how we had ‘work to do’ to get back to division 2. So much work in fact we’ve never actually made it.

I would find it very surprising if Mansfield got 4000 tickets. What Grimsby received seems the limit nowadays.

I’m really pleased you got the #stain on your record, even better chesterfield now have 6 years of it

It’s still a brilliant allocation in fairness for this league.

So Chesterfield the longest #stain then Mansfield, then Notts.

Did us both a world of good, may well do for Chesterfield too.

I can live with that.

We’re just short of 3000 for away fans at the CG - as long as 2 thirds don’t mind being out in the open.

their #stain might well, and hopefully will increase in years.

As is always the case with mansfield, it’s only ever what chesterfield do.

Lucky enough to get a ticket but probably getting there close(ish) to kickoff. Rather than trying to find a pub is there a bar in the away section?
I wouldn't leave it to just the ground. On the rare occasion where we actually serve beer in the away concourse, it takes a million years to actually get served (same in the home ends). I'd go without colours for the day and drink in town, lots of choices.

Just come across this set of stats on Wiki.
Seems attendances are slowing creeping up.
And last season Bradford almost averaged a fantastic 18,000. This season only slightly lower number but still excellent for a 4th tier club in bottom half of table.

Notts have stolen the dream factory from Stockport?

This is all very dramatic

No dreams being made there yet this season, that’s for sure!

That was also the season we got relegated and had a disastrous c*** running the club, so much so people were boycotting home games. I reckon we had more at your place that season than we did in the home ends for the return fixture. Another time you lot didn’t fill the away end too

Attendances all over seem to be on the rise these days though, bar at Salford anyway. What’s the crack with that, I know in a few cases like ourselves we seem to be challenging at the right end of the league for once but they seem to be up across the board, and if anything the prices to watch are getting worse!

That wasn't the only time you brought more to Meadow Lane than you took to Field Mill for your very next league match. The very definition of the Ultimate Big Day Out, that will never be beaten.

But that's what happens when off field shambles take over a club and effect things on the pitch and in the stands.

Attendances are booming, didn't see anyone predicting that post pandemic and in a reported cost of living crisis
