Interesting we have a good proportion of rabble turn up to Meadow Lane so far this season so fair point.

So what's your success/win rate against those (80%) of the current top 10?
Fairly similar to our overall record really as that constitutes most our matches but against the top 10 it's won 2, lost 4 and drawn 2.

There's no chance that's 1400 in that Bradford following too, that's a full stand which uses to be 1800, is on their own OS as 1600 but they're allocating teams 1700 tickets.

Mansfield all over the shop with their numbers, they need to sort it out.

I hope we can do better than that but that maybe a combination of early season optimism and the great football on show.

You're somewhat of an anomaly at this level in that there hasn't been a side quite so gung ho in this division for a long time (not to my knowledge at least, willing to be corrected on that), you look like the real deal but also a bit of a wildcard and hard to predict if you'll sustain this.

You came in with a relatively settled side though and didn't undergo major squad overhaul so that should serve you well once the matches get tougher. We've had this horrific start while also bedding in a load of new players (7 debuts on the opening day of the season). We should in theory kick on as the season goes on.

Definitely have a settled side, which is commonplace with successful (promoted) sides and they often benefit early doors from this. Saying all that never expected to start so well regardless of the perceived ease of the opposition.

The attacking gung ho style is fabulous, but hardly a surprise. I'm certain your and other L2 managers were regularly watching Notts and Wrexham on TV last season, so neither clubs styles were a surprise to anyone.

We deserve the points total we have to date without question. I'm sure we will slow down and soon.

It definitely looked around 1400/1500 on the night, North Stand does tend to look more fuller than it is to the laymen although that angle is a waste of time for this subject.

Fortunately our away figures are much easier than our home, it’s not tickets sold it’s literally clicks through the turnstile.

Unless a Bradford fan* who went that night wants to suggest they failed at some point so they checked some 300 odd through the big exit gate?

*By Bradford fan I purely mean the Mark Hughes fanboi ;)

Bloody nora.

Awful home support btw. Completely silent throughout barring a brief spell in the 2nd half.
I've been at games where both sets of supporters bragged they out-sung the opposition.
So I suspect our Crawley fan will disagree with your statement even though Wrexham brought a magnificent number to game.

Notts County still holding on to top spot, but I suspect Mansfield will go top after this coming weekend.

You’re all on your ass when big Kev and his army of Chickens descend on anywhere who dare to allocate us more than Halifax AFC.

Now that does sound tough.

I'm hoping we don't have such a challenge, well certainly not this season anyway. Tbh I don't think we've got it in us, too much quality.

We'll do well to break four figures at Crewe on Saturday, due to: A ) 27 quid a ticket; B ) we're dire and haven't taken a single point away from home. Mostly B, but I'm still narked about 27 quid for the honour of watching the game from the KLF Ice Cream Van side stand of mediocrity.
