2404 Stockport in a crowd of 19,657. Very good noise. Best away fans this season imo and not sure they'll be topped.

Aye-up The BBC have your attendance as 9,657 :pond:
I do think they've made error as your average home is 17,040.
But of course it being a Friday night match perhaps, perhaps .....................

The other month the BBC listed one of our home attendances as 650 or something so they get it wrong from time to time. Must have mixed us up with Salford or something.

Weird. This morning I correctly copied number quoted but later in day it has increased by almost 950 !!
And it is a great to fantastic number of regular supporters.
Well done to all involved.

9,786 is what was given on the screen inside the stadium
If you add the Notts fan total to the away total that’s what you get…

I saw 886 Donny at Field Mill somewhere - low but understandable, expecting a humping that didn’t materialise.

That is true but home attendance stats include away supporters.

Can’t believe we had over 9000 seeing as we’ve been garbage for months.

FGR are a bigger name than many in this league! Plus we are utter crap so a very good chance of 3 points! I’ve noticed you seem to have a weird thing about FGR Alfie whoever you are! quite a few digs you give out to us. You don’t for clubs like Salford who’s away support is pathetic compared to ours.

Let’s say 1200/1300 even if 19th, winless away and 12.30 (reasonable notice) is claimed, this is not yet proven so it can’t be guaranteed. TBF though Mansfield (and Chesterfield) numbers haven’t dropped really low to BP even in the NL days and compare well against Notts (never filled the Osmond when 1800 allocated for away - not even close) and Lincoln - disgracefully never filled the Osmond for a league game until the Cowleys era. Impressively the nearby grass-roots club, Scunthorpe, not Cleethorpes Town, have sold out on their last 3 visits. This is in the all-seater era of course. When BP was mainly terracing the Osmond held about 5k, rarely filled in my lifetime - home fans have about 3 times, the Sheffield clubs, Leeds, Newcastle and Chelsea (to win the title), that’s about it.
I can remember both Bolton and Aston Villa filling the Osmond when standing too. Villa in the FA Cup and Bolton first game of season in 93 or 94 I think.

Certainly more letters. Forest Green Rovers- quite the mouthful.

Dreadful away following let’s be real.

Only sold 1,000 for Crewe tomorrow. Down from 2.2k last season.

Suppose that's what £27 for an afternoon in Crewe will do to attendances.

Not sure how you work that one out bud you are by far the smallest with just the 3 letters.
Next smallest are Barrow and MK Dons with 6 each.

Yes forgot those. By then the capacity was much reduced post Hillsboro though so wouldn’t have been 5k. The ground capacity had gone from 24k to 17k - our last sell out in the pre-all seater was Spurs but they only had the Osmond Corner. Likewise for our last pre Hillsboro 20k plus crowds Everton and Wolves only had the corner.
