994 Gills at Meadow Lane including me.

Edit: Might actually be 1094, thought the scoreboard said 994, but our commentators apparently said 1094

Did you go today mate?. Really enjoyed that atmosphere and nearly won it at the end, I did wonder how many were there as seemed abit more than 800/900. Nice we are selling out albeit it of course today cheaper tickets.

Grimsby get the lowest away support again, why don't people come to the Lincolnshire Riviera, it's lovely.
Should be a couple of better away followings Donny have sold out and then Walsall (maybe ) will bring a fair few with them doing well?

I was surprised that there were only 340 Wombles at Valley Parade yesterday. I was expecting at least 500 given their start to the season and I'm sure they have brought much more in the past?

On sale today at midday
Yeah see a few fans are unhappy as no physical tickets only print at home or on phones which maybe isn't ideally for the older fans who are not used to computers possibly but Vale can't print them due to the County scanners it says.

Strange one but the modern times I guess, be nice to take the full allocation for this one, decent ground and away day.

Hope for a sell out, or possible request for more tickets would result in our biggest attendance of the season and over 12,000 paying fans

Notts county fans was 14,747 the crowd or does 11,477 sound more accurate on the weekend?. I get this is an away support thread but I’d read both in a few difference places. If nearly 15k what a crowd!!. Good follow by gills aswell ⚽

All attendance figures are welcomed to be discussed on this thread.

It wasn't the widely reported in the media 14,747. It was eleven and half thousand. Great attendance, very good following.

Good numbers from County there, seem to be doing "a Lincoln" where a decent season or two in the NL see's fans come in numbers and carry it on through into L2.

Show's us that DC's 10,000 target he had for us isn't unrealistic as a similar club, smallish city with a bigger disliked red and white neighbour doesn't have to hold you back. (rather we dont go down to increase further mind!)

That is of course still a very good following.
I did wonder whether your attendances may drop slightly into your second season at this level but that of course has not happened, I believe all your attendances so far have been 10-12 thousand.

Good point, it seems that hitting rock bottom for many into the national league can see clubs come back with a lot of momentum.
Wrexham is the obvious one going from 4k crowds to 12k now within just a few years. Notts county perhaps were at 6k ish a few seasons ago in the football league but tapped into a big fan base potential now. Chesterfield have possibly doubled home attendances or near that since last at this level?.

They have yes and Lincoln being probably one of the earlier examples, also tied in with the FA Cup run that promotion year. 10 years ago we'd play all of these with 4-6k attendances at their grounds so its been a great example of what can be done, especially when achieved at probably the clubs lowest ebb.
