Notts paying off Bromley to fabricate false away followings and bump up the average is a potential bombshell.
To be fair 515 is pretty much what Notts used to bring regularly on their MAMMOTH 75 mile trips to Blundell Park before their years of #stain in the National League boosted their away attendances.

Yup we'd bring 515 and the locals would just about manage to bolster the overall attendance to 4000 odd.

Obviously with hundreds of no shows#standard

The years of #stain have certainly bolstered our away followings but not as much as the more important home attendances. They've gone through the roof#vivalastain

Where's that come from? Everywhere else has got 3322 and 515 is more than the max allocation at Bromley, isn't it?

It’s 25 more than we said we’d been allocated, who knows!

The actual number of Pies there was 519 but Andy Woodman ate 4 of them for his lunch.

Sold out in about 20 seconds if you want to enjoy another meltdown. Fastest finger first wins the day here though. :cool1:
Enjoying everyone complaining about there being no loyalty system when the club are already committed to putting one in place

Based on how pants we have been, nowhere near. I would say 7,000 - 8,000 at best and I'd be surprised even with that. These days used to add 2,000-3,000 to the gate when in L1 and doing well, now no chance.
Fair enough, I remember you getting about 16,000 for a few home league games some years ago, not always big away followings too!. Donny have sold out now, I’m not sure if that’s the initial 850 or with some more given extra as I know we had tickets in lower and upper tier or is this common for initial allocations to be split between both tiers?. 7/8,000 would be a decent crowd all considering for sure.

Yeah, we had a period where we averaged 8-11k in L1 for several seasons and then 13k-14k for our single season in the Championship, but the last few years have been poor on the pitch for the most part so until that turns around we won’t be getting those heights anytime soon (certainly not while we remain in our lowest ever league position as we are now). The odd thing is our away support has improved a lot but our home support has got worse (all the kids following us have finally grown up I guess and now love an away day more than a home game).

I think we have just put fans back in the lower tier now unless a team is bringing 2,000-2,500+.

We’ve sold out our initial allocation of 3,000 at Doncaster for the game next Saturday. Any idea if we’ll get any more Donny fans on here, or am I in home end?

Bloody missed the boat didn’t I, never thought we’d sell them that quick ffs :ffs:

Good going that, lads. Our massivity can not be understated. Seriously though all banter aside, I truly hope we hang out of the back of you that day we owe you one.

That’s very impressive mate, was it exactly 3,000 as your first allocation?. The North stand is normally about 3,300/3400 which is offically the away end, however parts of the east stand can be included in away too which brings the overall number towards 4,000, perhaps around 3700/3800. Home fans can’t buy tickets in those areas generally ( North part of east stand ) so I can’t see why you wouldn’t get more as home fans will not be in those areas unless we have a surge of people buying home tickets. For example the only time we opened that end of our east stand for home fans were for a 10k home crowd against barrow and a sell out against Crewe in play offs at the end of last season. Also seen as most away fans this season ( Accrington and Morecambe ) are given the east anyway I can’t see you not getting that personally.

Yeah was bang on 3,000 initial allocation I think?

But that’s good to hear that there is capacity for more, thanks for that mate.

I just checked to see if home tickets are on sale in that east stand north corner, they are not, currently we only have up to E3 selling as home tickets meaning blocks E1, E2 should be made available for away end eventually. Bradford brought 4,000 in about March 2023 using those blocks. Chesterfields statement didn’t mention you wouldn’t be getting more nor did it say you’ve asked for extra, so that didn’t help haha!.

Yeah it’s annoying we didn’t mention in the statement about asking for more, but going off what you’ve said I think it’s fairly obvious we will have done!

What sort of home crowds have you been getting?

Around 7,000 give or take a few hundred for home fans only, that may climb slightly for the chesterfield game but i highly doubt we’d be selling enough to require fans using those blocks E1,E2. I hope you can get more if you’re going to sell them mate they would only be empty blocks and I’ve seen that way too much over the past couple of seasons at donny!.

I almost certain Chesterfield will beat us in October, I'm going to bet on it. When it happens I will have wry smile on my face, crack open a beer and stick on the highlights or a fans vlog from the Playoff final. What a day that was :bg:

Hopefully get some more. Few of my mates didn’t think we’d sell out so didn’t rush to buy them. Silly

If this selling out without getting a ticket carries on I'm not going to get enough loyalty points to get to many places next season either. It's never been the case that 1000 places get sold out like we are doing at the moment in forty years of watching us.
Failed to get a ticket today despite sitting primed on the online buy section at 8-58 this morning.

We’ve allowed up to 4,200 in the past but last season we appeared to limit away allocations, no idea why and not sure if we will give you more than another 3/400

Yeah I think North stand alone is 3,3/400 so Chesterfield should get that definitely you would imagine. Wasn’t it to do with policing for some big away crowds last season?.

Seems like you’ll probably sell a fair few more hundred then if allocated. Hopefully the home end is pretty full as well. I don’t know Chesterfields away crowds so far but I can imagine you’ll take a fair few especially to your more local games this season, can’t see you averaging under 1,000, we will see.

Sold 973 for Accy on Saturday as things stand. Shame it’s an early kickoff as would have sold more than that I’d have thought.

1500 odd at Vale, 1200 at Crewe and 350 at Gillingham for a 12.30 KO. Not incredible but decent enough. We will sell out games at Grimsby, Harrogate, Fleetwood and Notts County too I suspect as our home crowds and away have improved a lot post takeover/Covid. Fingers crossed we can get some more

I believe every club is asked how many they want, if they sell out they can request more but it’s up to the club. I believe if they request the tickets they have to pay for them so they have to be sure they will sell them. Not sure what happened with Bradford last season

Think our game fell on a Friday night last season, didn’t it? (Possibly on SKY?)

I think we brought around 2,700-2,800.
