Thought that it might have been but we have had many who have suggested that option over the years, expecially now they have a 17k capacity.
The majority would not want us to share, we had enough of that with the cricket club over the historical past. It was bad enough the cricket using the pitch as a car park from April to September without the mess the oval ball types would make of any surface like at Newport and Wycombe/Coventry. Plus the inability to maximise the off field profits would limit our budgeting even further.
Would you switch a home cup tie v a top prem team? I've been to FG a couple of times and it can generate a cracking atmosphere. Not a good idea to share permanently with rugby though - Stockport County...
Reading seem to be ok. What happened to Coventry City was a disgrace, stadium stolen by a London rugby franchise...

Wasps tried it on with us before they realised they couldn't took over Coventry's ground, well pleased when the parasites left Adams park.

Mansfield fans......

Our game at your place has been made all ticket. It seems it is very over the top. Can tickets still be brought on the day from a ticket office? Why do you do this even when we won't come anywhere near a sell out.?

It is out of the way for people to go to the hive to buy tickets so our numbers will be affected I think.

It's to keep the SAG on side. For us to have 100% capacity they wanted us to do allocated seating and making it all ticket makes that easier, That and apparently the turnstile operatives weren't great at handling cash without it falling into their pockets.

They usually say no tickets on the day, Which is wank and believe me I've had Paul Broughton, our operations director over it many times but they just don't get it. You'd get a ticket on the day though but it might be worth ringing up and seeing if you can pay over the phone or something and collect on the day.

No you can't switch if it's purely for financial gain. And I wouldn't want us to, a view I think is shared by most of our fans. As for the rest of our league games, as long as every fan that was there from the start and through the money troubles gets a ticket to see us lift the league title, then I'm not bothered how many we get.

Also, our 2,890 allocation for Pompey sold out a few days ago. Gonna be a right doosey on the south coast

Sold just over 2000 for Pompey on Saturday thus far. Not bad considering everyone has resigned to the playoffs now and will be saving money for those games... I think it would have been less if everyone hadn't already purchased their train tickets whilst we were third! Can't go this year which is a shame, as it's a jolly good piss up and atmosphere UP there.

Probably the wrong place for this but I found it interesting..
That chart isn't up to date as our attendances against Luton and Leyton Orient were 4000 and 3400 respectively.

21 away games completed for us - 21,312 away fans travelling to league games this season, with our average being 1,015 with Carlisle (Tue) and Northampton to go. Pretty good effort with us being pretty inconsistent this year.

Any idea as to how many you'll be bringing down on Tuesday?

That Northampton figure seems low, considering they wrapped up the title?

How much can the away end hold at Exeter? As away stands go that's got to be one of the worst - it's nothing more than a dolled up bus stop

It'll be too big for our requirements on Tuesday evening !!

But, yes, it isn't the best away end going. Though I'm sure I've read somewhere it's going to be replaced with a new stand ??

Any idea on numbers of exiles at Boro, yesterday.

I would guess in the region of 150 (and it felt as though a few of those left after the abominable first half) but haven't seen an exact figure.

They brought 1,262 to us in January when they were lower in the table so I'd think so as Boro's away end holds 1,300!
